Shortly after arriving from Istanbul, our hotel (in the Goreme area) suggested we head over for dinner at their sister hotel Seten. Usually I am very skeptical when the hotel makes such an offer, but Seten was on my list of restaurants to check-out in Cappadocia so we decided to make the short walk over. The place was packed, and... More

We ate here three times while staying at the linked hotel trying different plates each time and doing a repeat on their mixed appetizer platter which is a great assortment of traditional fare with good sized portions for two or more (note that out of the 9 choices, one is non vegetarian and one is spicy so if these are... We stayed at Hotel Kelebek, and this restaurant happened to be next door. We got dinner here on our first night in Cappadocia. The restaurant is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The food was delicious and the prices reasonable. By the time we got around to ordering desserts, the kitchen closed. So our waiter asked that we come back another day,... More

Beautiful location on a terrace, far from the noise of the principal street of Göreme. Very good service, we went there 3 Times and they have always been very kind and pleasant. Above all I recommend beef kebap and lamb shank: delicious.

Some portions were small for appetizers and the bad lamb shank was tastelss with overcooked cafetreria-style peas and vegetables. We loved the squash blossoms and the red wine and the generous pour! Atmosphere like at an Italian villa... nice!
