Both traditional turkish foods and interesting variations. We went there twice and liked it both times. I love mercimek corba and consider myself something of a connoisseur and theirs was quite good. Compared to the surrounding restaurants the prices are quite good as well. Only down side is they don't have beer. But the iced appletea was surprisingly tasty.

A must for any Aussie traveller that has been missing coffee! Melbourne trained barista/owner Ali is the nicest guy and makes the best coffee! They also do delicious Turkish pancakes which are perfect for snacks and lunch! Went here for lunch everyday! Friendly, well located and delicious! Two thumbs up!

As much as I love Turkish coffee, when I heard this cafe had a barrista trained in Australia, I headed straight there. It advertises itself as best coffee in Goreme but I would have to say it is the best coffee in Turkey including some good ones found in Istanbul. Thanks Ali and crew. Your a life saver! Great smoothies... More

Cafe Safak was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist. We went there on our first day, and came back every single day of our trip. They offer great barista coffee and amazing lentil soup, their mezze platter is also a must! And the staff is always happy!

Went here twice for lunch whilst staying in Goreme. The gozleme was cooked very well and was tasty, the milkshake was also great and my partner enjoyed his coffee frappe. Worth a visit.

It was fun to see some local cooking, but these cooking lessons do not compare favorably to cooking classes that you may have encountered elsewhere. They are not interactive. Mostly you end up watching a woman cook on her stove, and if you insist, she will let you help out here and there. The cook is also not really having... More

My friend and me wanted actually just stay one day in Göreme... But then we meet Ali and Fatma and their Cafe şafak! All in all we stood one week! We worked there and travelled in the freetime trough Capadocia! That was the best holiday I ever had! In that one week we were able to try all the food!... More

Good menu choices and reasonable prices. Obliging staff and lovely terrace featuring roses. A great choice in Goreme.

This was a nice refuge after a tough day of touring. The food was typical Turkish restaurant food. good. Not exceptional. I had their special gozleme and did not enjoy it. My sister had stuffed eggplant and pepper and liked it.
