Try their special kofte. It is very very yummy: melting cheese on the top of juicy beef kofte in a hot clay pan. My friend had the hummus and she said it was one of the best hummus she's ever had.

Lovely tea- actual leaves rather than the cheap bagged stuff you often come across. Nargila was quite nice, and the environment out the front was wonderful. Very cheap at just $7! Service was really friendly and made the experience that much better.

My partner and I ate at Fat Boys several times during our stay in Goreme. The Australian/Turkish owners are really friendly and went out of their way to help us - even when they spotted us looking confused on the street! The prices are exceptional! Especially considering it's located in a busy tourist area. E.g. vegetarian pottery kebab for 13... More

Friendly staff, nice talking to the owner and hearing his story. Nice cold beer and hot food. The flaming kebab was delicious and entertaining. My friend was a little sad that they wouldn't let you smoke Hookah indoors. Great food, would definitely recommend.

Being Australian, we were drawn to this restaurant by the 'vegemite on toast' and 'meat pies' on the menu. We found out that the owner used to live in Melbourne and has added these Australian dishes to the menu based on his time in Melbourne. There were also many other dishes that looked amazing, with other cuisines than just Turkish... More

Decent food, great pillow and pads to sit down on the porch and people watch. A good place to meet others since its so centrally located and comfortable. The nachos were delicious. Avoid the spring rolls.

My family chose this location twice during our stay in Goreme. Very nice staff and very good food. They offer many options on the menu and it is a really neat atmosphere! They have a bit of everything. It is a bar that serves hookah, but the food is not close to typical "bar food". I would highly recommend.

Bar in central town with wifi and sports channels playing. Reasonable food although not as good as some of the restaurants around.

We stumbled upon Fat Boys 2 years ago and keep coming back. There is something on the menu for everyone, kids are welcomed and the beer is cold and there is no language barrier here. We return here on every trip we have made to Cappadokkia and have never been disappointed. We always need a table for 8-10 and the... More
