In this cozy, classy old Goreme cave home, lined with Turkish cushions and rugs (you take off your shoes and lounge on pillows at ground level), we had our first Goreme meal on a cold night next to a comforting fire, and our last Goreme meal, 9 days later, on a warm evening in this cool restaurant. The food is... More

The authentic pottery kebab is the best reason to visit Dibek. The atmosphere is fantastic and unlike other restaurants in Goreme. Appetizers brought out for us were varied, as are the desserts. We also had both the white and red house wines, which were nice; we preferred the white.

the food is ok. we had the manti and Gozleme. David had the homemade wine and boy he was regretting that the next day. That was the only food that we did not share and the reason why I think I didn't have any issues with my stomach the next day but he did. Don't try the homemade wine!

A wonderful meal at this family restaurant. It's very popular even this early in the season. The clay pot was dramatic with the hammer opening! The owner spoke excellent English though we try to order in our terrible Turkish when we can.

I am glad that I tried Goreme's famous 'Testi Kebabi' in this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely. Testi kebabi comes with salad and rice- it's a genorous dish and you don't need to order anything else. You sit on cushions on the floor. It's very cosy... The owner (or the young member of the owning... More

Our family LOVED this restaurant! We had our hotel make a reservation for us and pre-order the clay pot meals (we did beef and chicken). You must pre-order the pots at least 3 hours ahead of time. Seated on cushions on the ground, with a small coffee table for the food, we were so relaxed and happy. The kids absolutely... More

I am too old and fat to enjoy sitting on the floor to eat but I guess the seating arrangements provides ambience and authenticity. Service was good and somewhat personable but we found the food to be only average and does not justify what we feel to be at the upper end cost-wise.

We enjoyed the place way more than we enjoyed the actual food. It is a very nice building with lots of history; take a quick tour around and check out the wine cellar and the room in the upper corner. Dining while sitting on cushions on the floor definitely complemented the traditional feel to the restaurant, but unfortunately the food... More

The place is very cosy, comfortable and beautiful, and it's over 475 years old! the staff is good too, and I didn't eat any maid dishes. Although, it was a great place to stop, drink a wine and eat something small. The menu has some few options, but I enjoyed my time there.

Delicious lentil soup, meal in an earthen container. The best Baklava I ever ate. Cheerfully family-run.
