Great Lunch Spot

Stumbled across this place while strolling around. We ordered the lamb mince Pide and the cheese and walnut Pide along with a seasonal salad. Really enjoyed it all and all for a very reasonable price. The waiter suggested adding Honey to the the top of a few slices of the cheese and walnut Pide... read more

Turkish food is a good combination of greens, bread / rice and meat. And one of the most interesting Turkish Dish is Pottery Kebabs. As the name suggests, the meat - lamb or beef or fish - usually prawns / shrimps are placed in a clay pot with other aromatic herbs / vegetables and slow cooked over fire. The pot... More

Nice atmosphere, staff friendly without being pushy. Traditional Turkish food was good, inc a decent selection of vegetarian dishes. Worth a second visit.

Friendly & smiling staff out front that aren't pressuring for diners. Great pides... Dined here twice. Would come again just for the pides alone. Don't hesitate. Wasn't impressed by the shrimp casserole.

This place is foodies hunting for the local flavors. Make sure you try the minced meat PIDE with the salad. You won't be disappointed. This is not just another pizza, this a flavorful local dish called PIDE. Kids will love it as well as adults.

Well executed traditional Turkish fare, fresh ingredients in the salads, excellently grilled kebabs. The service was exceptional as is the layout. Diners seemed very comfortable there. The house wine is delicious and reasonably priced; the Effes beer frosty cold.

It was just average. I ordered the shrimp cayserol. Not sure of the spelling. It was a little plain. I'm guessing that the food here is plain. A few nights ago, had the pottery chicken at another restaurant and it also taste plain. I think its their cooking style. The bread served was cold. Maybe mines was leftover and was... More

Don't expect anything out of the ordinary - you can eat better pide at a lot of places in Turkey. But for tired people (after a whole day of chmineys, caves and trekking), this is nice solid food at reasonable prices at a nice clean venue - can't complain!!!

We reached goreme late and found this place super close to our hotel still open around 11:30. We are vegetarian so asked what should we try and server suggested pide. Since they were planning to close soon so he ask if we are ok to do take away and they also offered us hot tea. Pide was really good.
