We stumbled across ISOS kitchen after heading along the backstreet in Kalkan. The place looked authentic and quaint so we decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. The food was extremely tasty and a little different from the mainstream restaurants in Kalkan. Well worth a visit

I like Iso, he has been in Kalkan for many years and works incredibly hard. However on this visit I thought his main waiter was rude and was clearly trying to rush us to finish - we received no complimentary meze unlike other tables - don't treat people differently please! We normally try to visit Iso's 2 or 3 times... More

This year the location has got better with the improvements in the street. Considering the size of the kitchen they do very well. When you don't fancy the hustle of the other places give it a go. The food is fine and good quality. Bora is an asset to the team

Down a back street in the old town where there are no gift shops or bars with tvs showing football. The terrace was fully booked so we sat opposite the restaurant and enjoyed people, cat and dog watching! Lovely waitress/manager and delicious food- salads, swordfish casserole and good kids menu with chicken schnitzel. One of the cheapest places we ate... More

Left disappointed. Service was excellent however the portions were small for a mixed shish kebab meal - only 4 pieces of lamb and 2 of them were fatty. I would not recommend to a friend.

Situated in a relatively quiet and more authentic part of the town, this traditional looking terraced taverna style restaurant wooed us with its warm ambience. The staff were friendly and professional and the menu provided fantastic, top quality food and great cooking. My wife and eldest had the swordfish kebabs which were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth.... More

Super meal, we had lamb casserole which was fab! The restaurant is in a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent value for money and sincere service.

After a recommendation from friends we decided to try this restaurant which is just along the more back streets by moon light bar. Experienced great service I had the tasty meat balls in spicy sauce my daughter had chicken and husband the lamb casserole which came out to the table with flames all around the pot, great personal service and... A little bit more candle light than usual punctuated a visit to this wonderful rustic veranda restaurant. The staff coped deftly with the lack of power, delivering lovely food in a friendly and timely manner. Try the salads or fish casserole or enjoy the mix grill. You really can't go wrong with this gem off the beaten track.

We visited this restaurant on our first evening in Kalkan which happened to be my birthday. What a great place to celebrate, food and wine were both reasonably priced and what a delicious meal we had. Tucked away in the old part of Kalkan with a cool terrace this was a wonderful place to start our holiday.
