On a winters evening when we had the undivided attention of the chef/owner, Isos provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent fresh fish beautifully cooked and friendly and attentive service.....all this at a very reasonable price. Certainly one of the better meals in the village and quite honestly difficult to find better.

As always in any part of the world the best places to eat are away from the prime spots. This is no exception and we followed The Times article from it's travel page of the 26 July 2014 to give it a try. Situated up a narrow side street well away from the overpriced waterfront restaurants (where they don't have... More

Isos had been recommended to us. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The service was extremely slow - took quite some time before we were asked if we would like a drink. We were then given the menus and shown some fresh fish that was available and not listed on the menu or on a specials board. I ordered the fresh... More

As regular visitors to Kalkan (15 times) We found this little gem of a place near the end of our most recent stay in October - only wish we'd found it earlier. On street level it offers a charming inside space with stone flooring and original features whilst the outside offers a bougainvillea festooned upper terrace. The freshly prepared food.... More

The restaurant has much improved this year and that's thanks to the chef and his partner. The food is always very fresh, and you cannot fault the quality and excellent service. Their kofte and shrimp are great, cannot fault the menu. Worth a visit.

Chose this by listening to the sound coming from the upper terrace - only had starters and desserts - but it was very good on all fronts - lovely family run place, of course Kalkan has many resturant's but this is reasonably priced and an enjoyable spot !

At the beggining of our holiday we decided that on the last night we would go back to our favourite restaurant. We found Isos on night 13 and will go back for night 14. It is true that the further back you go from the sea front the quality gets better and the price gets cheaper. A superb 3 course... More

Filled rapidly just after we arrived, several reserved tables, very nice food and house wines. Partner had prawn casserole which was delicious, I had lambs liver which was properly cooked (just pink and tender), choice of dessert was maybe not best, halva & hot apple, but I wanted to at least try it as combination was (definitely) unusual.
