In summer the bougainvillea is resplendent, in the cooler months there is a fire going in the mostly open bar. Music on many nights, a relaxing chilled place to meet friends.
Food was OK but service very slow and despite having paid for the set menu we gave up on coffee about 3 hours after arriving as the music had finished as well. If it is full expect to wait a long time between courses.
We ate here as a group of five on one of the live Jazz nights. When we arrived the restaurant was extremely busy so we had to wait for a table- no problem as we enjoyed drinks and listening to the music in the rear garden. Ate here twice during our recent trip to Kalkan. Firstly for lunch as it was near to our villa. I had a steak wrap and OH a pizza from the wood-fired oven, both excellent. Had a meal one evening when they had live music. I had liver and my husband the meatballs. Cute cat and kittens too! Would definitely recommend.
Top ten restaurant are mostly cafes on ta. Some of great places not on top ten like this gem restaurant. The food and service was excellent, head waiter flower was very kind to us, thank you flowerccek)
Just returned from 2 weeks in Kalkan and we ate here 4 times throughout our stay. The fillet steak was melt in the mouth and the calves liver was just delicious. They serve a complimentary freshly cooked huge pitta bread with olives and oil/balsamic dipping while you wait for your meal. Loved the serving dishes so much and asked Ali...

We had TurkishBreakfast, Pizza and Quesedellas along with beer, milkshakes and soft drinks at lunchtime. As noted in previous reviews the music was great, the service good and the kittens sleepy! We arrived just after 8 people and thought there may be a delay with our food but we pleasantly surprised to be served along with the table of 8....

It is always worth looking away from the harbour for some real gems of places. Kaptans was fabulous and my husband and I visited on a few occasions as it is a great place to relax with an after dinner drink. Very cool. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the wine simply lovely. We did eat one night...

This is another hind gem of sophistication in Kalkan. Ali runs a lovely place with great service and on Monday and Friday does live music which is a real treat. Jazz is the main theme but Ali has over 100,000 tracks to choose from and play lists to suit almost any taste so just ask him for your preference and...
