We walked in on the off chance and were really glad we did. A very laid back atmosphere, live jazz music and excellent service. The food offerings were all received well - the oven baked sea bass and sea bream were delicious, and the callasonne was wonderful. Definitely a go back to.

We have visited Kaptan since it opened a few years back. With the plants maturing, the music, service, good food and local cats and occasional dog in attendance it is a fab place to spend a few hours. The food is as good as you will get in Kalkan for pizzas, pastas, steaks and fish.It is better than many of the restaurants we have eaten in over... We discovered the Kaptan Wine & Tapas purely by accident; we were just walking past and thought it looked and sounded interesting. Situated on the outskirts of Kalkan town centre, so away from the direct hustle & bustle, this restaurant really deserves to be better positioned; closer to the action. The decor/design is very laid back and chilled. Menu: The... More

We have been here a few times over the years. The staff are always very help full and the service is good. The atmosphere continues to improve with the vegetation. Well worth going to on a music night and especially so when you don't feel like walking into town

Having missed breakfast at our hotel we decided to try the Full English at Kaptan. We were pleased to see the breakfast had British style bacon and baked beans. Unfortunately the sausages were of poor quality. The bill came to around 60TL for two breakfasts and two orange juices. Overall a pretty average experience.

We decided to try dining out with the old town, to see if better food and value could be found. Kaptan restaurant looked very nice, table and chairs very good. Live guitar music was unobtrusive. We ordered two pizzas, chilli chicken and meatballs with a nice bottle of Yakut. The standard bread and olives took about half an hour to... More

We have not long returned from a wonderful family holiday in Kalkan and Kaptan's Wine Bar is one of the reasons our holiday was so special. The staff were so warm and friendly and the food was gorgeous. Ali's taste in music was second to none, it was if he'd hand picked the music especially for me. The ambience was... More

This wonderful restaurant offers fantastic food and really excellent music in a stylish, convivial setting. Ali is the perfect host providing the best ambience in Kalkan - there is really no need to go anywhere else and once you have tried this place you'll want to keep going back! The combination of live music and a choice from over 2000... More

Popped in for a drink on the way into the town centre and ended up having a superb T-bone steak. Staff were very attentive and the singer/guitarist added to the atmosphere. Great alternative to walking down the hill.

I love this restaurant, its charming, beautiful flowers overhead and twinkling lights, we ate here twice and also called in for pizza to takeaway. Live music is an added bonus to the amazing food. I recommend the meatballs and prawn casserole, tastes amazing. Nice friendly staff and great value for money. Cant wait to go back next year.
