Traditional Turkish! Absolutely lovely food with a great atmosphere with a reasonable price. We have previously visited this restaurant and it is still is good as ever! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a delightful meal out with very good attentive staff and great meals.

Returned after two years to find the same relaxed atmosphere and good food. Good view out over the harbour. Prawns and borek for starters were good and the Testi Kebab was excellent. Worth a visit and also runs the excellent Cafe Del Mar downstairs, best coffee in Kalkan.

having been to kalkan for the last six years the ivy and cafe del mar is one of our favourites. the atmosphere that murat and his staff create is one of pure peace and relaxation. the distinctive smell of the joss sticks and its headie aroma coupled with classic music immediately awakens your sense and you could be in any... We went as a family of 4 to the Ivy, never having been here in our 4 years visiting Kalkan. The kids meals were okay whereas my wife and I both had lamb shanks which were served stone cold and luke warm. After sending these 2 meals back, my wife was sent a fresh one 10 minutes later which was... More

Yes - another roof terrace, and actually not necessarily the best view. However - definitely the best and most attentive service (without being overpowering as the service in other restaurants sometimes was) and the setting is so quaint and atmospheric. I was on holiday with a group of friends and we ate here twice (and had many coffees, apple pies... More

As is de rigour in the ancient city - another roof terrace restaurant. Nice menu with some nice authentic dishes like slow cooked lamb, chicken with apricots etc. The family all rated the food highly. Whilst the family overall would maybe give the restaurant four stars....for me it is three on the following basis - the service is simply too... More

Situated above the excellent Cafe Del Mar, The Ivy has an excellent roof terrace with great views over Kalkan. The menu is extensive and traditional and we all enjoyed our food. One of our party is allergic to wheat and the staff were very helpful to make sure that nothing she chose contained wheat. The atmosphere was great and the... More

We had been going to Cafe Del Mar situated below The Ivy for coffee, milk shakes and it's excellent homemade lemonade on a daily basis after breakfast for a read of the papers in a relaxed setting. So we were persuaded by the proprietors to go to The Ivy on our last night in Kalkan. It offers an excellent roof... More

Very acceptable restaurant. Food nothing to shout about but certainly wasn't poor. Service was good and value for money good considering the wonderful view. It's one up from little chef but very acceptable if you're just after a quick bite.

We ate here on our second night in kalkan, and looking back after trying so many of the restaurants there, we have very fond memories of The Ivy. My husband had the 3 hour slow cooked lamb special which was exquisite, and I had Sea Bass which had the freshest tasting tomato based sauce with it, really really tasty and... More
