Didn't eat hear but went on a couple of occasions for drinks , must say if you want a chilled out and relaxed evening this is the place to go , sitting on large cushions on a neatly laid out roof terrace with very chilled out music .

We chose to dine in the traditional Turkish area with carpeted and cushion seating and low tables which was good fun. The meze starter was the best we had in Kalkan, so tasty! I had the chicken in béchamel sauce topped with tomato, my husband and one of our dining colleagues had the trout oven baked and our other dining... More

We were in Kalkan at the beginning of the season, so for a light lunch around 3pm this was an ideal setting - in the cool of their simple, street-level room seated on cushions we felt quite Turkish. A couple of basic Turkish dishes was all we wanted and they were tasty. It seemed to be the family who owned... More

This restaurant has a lovely view over Kalkan, however we were slightly disappointed with the food. The meze starters were very tasty, however the main courses took a while to arrive and several of us in the group were disappointed.

We had dinner here and opted for the traditional Turkish seating of cushions on the floor, wonderful setting with views from the roof terrace over the Kalkan harbour and sea, flowers growing all around made for a very pretty, atmospheric evening. Staff are friendly, menu is varied and reasonably priced, we all had different items and the only slight issue... More

It was by no means bad but after a week in the area, the food here wasn't quite up to scratch. For a family of five the pricing was pretty standard (it came to around £100 in total). A very weird bland yoghurt and pasta dish wasn't great (although I'm not sure what we expected from yoghurt and pasta combined...).... More

The restaurant makes an attempt at an authentic turkish restaurant. Beautifull set up for drinks or pipes. However the food and service fails on all levels. After over 10 years of visiting turkey this was the worst restaurant ever. I am sorry but the food was tastless and badly presened. A plate of chips with a dried unboned sea bass,... More

We went twice to this restaurant last week. You can either sit on cushions and eat off a low table or sit at a table on another level. It is very good food. Try the Compteke or the beef Kofta. Delicious. Sorry about the spelling! So pretty up on the roof terrace.

Fabulous food and beautiful setting. Belgin's kitchen is a really lovely restaurant. One of the few restaurants in Kalkan that offers "traditional" seating, although it is not compulsory, you can sit at a normal table, but when in Turkey...... The food is delicious. A must, if you want to experience a traditional Turkish meal.

Having tried many restaurants in Kalkan, by far our favourite has been Belgin. Authentic Turkish food, great service and, if you like that sort of thing, "Ottoman" floor seating. We personally opted for the joint-friendlier table seating on the cool upper terrace. Reasonably priced and authentic. What more could one ask for. Will be going there again on our next... More
