We returned here this year having had dinner and breakfast last year. I do not understand the negative reviews I have seen here. This is a simple place with fabulous views (someone actually complained about the fact that a road ran alongside!!). Where in England can you get fresh bread, Turkish tea or coffee, organic eggs freshly laid from their... More

So disappointed - the food was tasteless and overpriced. My husbands fish & chips had 4 chips on the plate. He had all the tricks up his sleeve - asked us to sign a book saying how good the food was and then got the bill. It looked suspicious and we added it up ourselves - should have been 135... More

A trip to Kalkan would not be the same without a trip to Adam's. This occasion we had the pleasure of having the wonderful Turkish breakfast. Coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, free range eggs from his hens, homemade cheeses & jams from his garden. A delicious breakfast with the most magical views down the coast. A real treat.

Really wonderful restaurant run by a very friendly and chatty host! One of the biggest perks of this restaurant are the free pick up and drop off service enabling everyone the freedom to enjoy the dinner without having to worry about who's going to be the driver! Highly recommend the flaming dishes! they give the dinner that fantastic edge, ask... More

Shocked by the ridiculously high prices in Kalkan for what was derivative tourist food, we hit the road and stopped here randomly. The owner is friendly and talkative and his staff is nice. There is a nice view as well. The food, while not in any way special, was decent family fare, comprising soups, stews, grilled meat etc. However, it... More

Contacted Adam around 5.00pm. He collected us from our Appartment and took us to his Restaurant, Watched a lovely sunset. The garden was full of growing vegetables... you cant get fresher than that. The Meze plate and the Meatballs were of the a very high standard and were much enjoyed. Adam and his family were perfect hosts.

You couldn't pick a better place in terms of the view. We just stopped for a quick lunch and enjoyed a great meze selection especially Adams baked cheese dish. Okay you've above the road....but it's not the M25 and the view over the sea to the islands is just magnificent. Adam's a pleasant guy and helpful on advice on other... More

Not really worth a trip out of town, though we did go on quite a grim evening weather-wise and possibly a meal on the terrace rather than inside would have been a better experience. Expected more tasty home cooking, with fresh herbs and vegetables. Meze plate ordinary. My lamb shank was fine, but my friend was served some very poor... More

We decided to drive out to Adams Place for breakfast and were very pleased we did. We sat in the shade but positioned so we still had the beautiful view. Adam was a very friendly, nice host, serving up a delicious "surprise breakfast" made up of lots of dishes. It's a shame We are running out of time this visit... More

Have visited Adam's several times for lunch over the years and have enjoyed it every time! The food is delicious Turkish cooking, our particular favourites are the village breakfast and the stuffed aubergine. During the day the views cannot be beaten by anywhere in or around Kalkan and it is well worth popping in on the way back from Kaputas... More
