We were expecting much more from this restaurant (on the Lonely Planet guide) but at the end we only got a forgettable food experience. Owner and staff are very kind, fast service (but we were the only one), nice location (in a small alley), the food has been nothing special, average meze, ordinary sea bass or sea bream and sub-par... Once you have found it, down a small alleyway, the tables are laid lovely, a canopy above and great food, we both had the Fillet mignon, which was divine, the service was excellent but the only negative was the bathroom facilities need an update though.

As I ate too much Turkish dishes, I tried Italian here and ordered Spaghetti Milanese but it was totally different from what I know as Milanese and not al dente. The seating was on the narrow street sandwitched between the house and the walls and different from other streets in Kaleici, there were not so many pedestrians so the atomsphere... More

Of the three nights we spent in Antalya, we ate at the Sim Restaurant twice. The food was delicious. The restaurant appears to be the family's home, and everything is prepared with the love and attention to detail that you would expect from your mother. We loved everything about it.

Although it took some time for my partner and I to find this place we eventually did and were not disappointed. The restaurant appears to be run by a husband and wife duo from their own home. I had the mixed grill, which was excellent, and my partner had the turkish ravioli, which he said was the best he ever... More

The Sim Restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel, the Villa Tulipan and we ate most of our meals there. The tables are set out along an ancient stone wall in a narrow, quiet lane. The food was always excellent (that is why we kept going back). The ingredients were excellent and properly cooked. We aren't "foodies" but... More

We first ate in this little restaurant tucked away in an alley in the old town just over two years ago. We liked it then and were not disappointed this time. Given the small size (just a half dozen or so outside tables) and the fact that it is just a husband and wife affair (who spek very little English),... More

Nice selection of savoury and sweet breads / rolls for breakfast, popular place. Open all day. Self service but staff do attend.
