Enjoyable eating

My brother and I arrived early in the evening before the restaurant was open but the welcoming chef/owner opened up, welcomed us in, gave us a hot drink and lit the wood burning stove to warm us up (December). Rustic ambiance, probably lovely to sit in the garden had it been better weather but this... read more

I feel slightly mean giving this restaurant an Average rating but there isn't an option for Good in the overall ratings . We visited in mid December when Alanya was extremely quiet and we were the only customers . We ate inside as the main restaurant situated in the garden was closed up. The dining area had a wood burning... More

Great looking place with witty phrases outside to invite you in. The owner showed us an old black and white silent film, which was a nice touch. The toilet is full of old stuff to make it more interesting. But... They have only a set menu, cannot really choose what you want to eat and the drink menu is limited.... More

This Restaurant is ran by a Turkish Chef who has won prizes for his cookery. The are normally two set meats each day which chance each day. The first course normally comprised 5 - 6 Meze dishes; such as different salads with cheese often with unusual ingredients such as Strawberries or Water Cress. Yummy Cheese sticks are also another favourite.... More

Wonderful traditional Turkish restaurant, they only have a few things on the menu because they only cook what looks it's very best at the market that day. Beautiful garden to sit outside and eat in, absolutely delicious food, you get a massive mezze to start with then a choice from usually 3 different mains for 40TL bargain!

This restaurant smells of cats. Cat wee specifically. I don't mind a cat or two however they do not jet wash the floors at all.... It doesn't feel clean. The bathroom is a novelty but cannot be cleaned to a high standard with the amount if brick a brac adorning the walls. Toilet roll sat on top of a dirty... More

Nice garden with friendly staf but with a limited menu. The good thing is that the food is fresh but not very tasty. I almost needed to add salt to my food.

We found this restaurant by chance here on tripadvisor. We read it was different from other restaurants in Alanya, it served Turkish food, and had few menu options. The total opposite of what you find in this extremely touristy area. Our expectations were met, and exceeded. We had a very pleasant meal in a calm atmosphere. Highly recommended!
