I went to this restaurant tonight with my family and parents in law. Fantastic quality of service, very polite and helpful staff. The owner speaks perfect English and seems to be always in good mood. We had starters, brick (Tunisian filo pastry deep fried) with tuna prawns and a Tunisian season salad, all tasty. The main is OK, fish was... More

I have eaten here several times and each time tasty food, good service and a great price. The sandwiches in tabouna bread are my favorite and puttanesca pasta.

Loved this place the owner spoke perfect English and the place is spotless. Didn't eat there because we had got food poisoning from our 5 star hotel but had great coffee for one dinar. It has an open kitchen so you can see everything being cooked and the food looked fantastic. We had a rough time in Tunisia but we... More

All the dishes are worth a try at least once. Ate here 4 times during my holiday with my family. The couscous dishes are delightful but be aware they must be ordered 24 hours in advance. The grilled fish is amazing. My kids enjoyed the mixed grill and lamb chops. My husband loved the Ojja - scrambled egg dish made... More

Time Out was just 250 yards from our hotel. What a great little cafe/bistro and well deserving its rating on Tripadvisor. The owner worked really hard keeping the place spotless. They did a 4 course Ramadan special meal with a fixed menu rotated over 4 nights. We went the night when the main course was Chicken. Under 10 Dinar (£4)... More

Regrettably, we came across this place in the last days of our holiday. It is a little off the beaten tourist track, being more of an eatery for locals. Our holiday coincided with Ramadan, so there was a special menu available at the breaking of the fast. It was a nice experience to take our seats just before sunset and... More

Eventually found this as it was quite a walk up from the Medina, but as it was a cool cloudy day we were happy to have the walk. It serves great value food at prices about half that in town. Had a very polite well spoken server and service was quick. We'd come to realise that Tunisian cuisine is not... More
