We arrived at 7pm and found ourselves the only ones in the restaurant. Others did join but even by 9pm the customers were sparse which meant the atmosphere was lacking a little, which is a shame as the garden setting is lovely. The food was lovely, we all had fish in one way or another, some dishes with pasta, some... More

I had a modest meal of chicken and chips with a tuna starter.Tthe chicken was delicious, the chips could have been better. The intelligent waiter was attentive and friendly and helped to make my solo eating memorable. I was shown a glass of almost yellow Ugni Blanc, my first impressions were confirmed that this wine was old and tired and... More

Nothing special. The service was bland. The seafood spaghetti was over done with too many flavours it was just too rich to eat. It's cheaper and better to eat elsewhere. The only consolation is they serve wine.

Just gorgeous restaurant with a typical Tunisian menu. Good wine list and I would highly recommend local Ugni blanc or the Magon rouge. Wonderful spaghetti bolognaise for our 6 yr old while we had the choice of traditional couscous, would suggest you share a pirate as the portions are extremely large for one.

We were looking for a nice restaurant with tables in open air to spend a cosy evening in august with friends that wanted to have a proper Tunisian dinner. We were recommended Achour and ordered the absolute classics: brick a l'oeuf, salad tunisienne, cous cous with meat and with fish. The atmosphere was lovely, the garden is really beautiful and... Nice ambience in a courtyard setting under the olive trees and bougainvillea shrubs. The seafood salads had the feel if homemade. We had the seafood spaghetti and fish couscous but I was not totally wowed by the flavour & the reviews posted by others. It is an ok restaurant for the value of money you pay. Cannot complain!

The venue is very pleasant, the food is mostly fish and seafood. Good cuisine, nice service even if it could do better ( recommendation wise) Quite pricy Will come back

A family owned restaurant, "Chez Achour" is a must when visiting Hammamet. It has not changed its formula in years and boast a pretty wide array of clients, local and foreign, ALL year around. Set in a lovely garden it offers good traditional and continental food and a discreet and efficient service. It is at its best when serving seafood... More
