Great little bar and grill. The food is fresh and well made and the staff is great. Good selection of beers on tap.

My wife and I were in the area for a family wedding and had one day to explore. We decided on Alexandria Bay where we took the Boldt Castle Tour (definitely need to do if in the area). We checked Yelp and Tripadvisor for suggestions for lunch. I saw a couple of reviews for the reuben sandwich at Brass Tacks.... More

Service was extremely slow the food tasted like it was frozen and dumped out of the box and into the deep fryer

Food was okay; typical pub food. Beer was good and they gave us legos while we waited for our food - our toddler loved that.

We had been wanting fried mushrooms for several days and this was the first restaurant we found that had them on the menu. The mushroom crust was nice and crispy and the mushrooms juicy. Excellent! The fish and chips were good, also. A place you wouldn't want to go to all the time because almost everything is fried.

I had the Thousand Island burger - dressing, sauerkraut - it was delicious! Homemade chips were excellent.

Most "American" cuisines offer a slim vegi-variety, i.e. French fries, salad, or a grilled cheese pulled from the kid's menu. I was pleasantly surprised when I perused Brass Tacks' offerings and found ALL KINDS OF THINGS! A veggie wrap, veggie burger and on special, at the time, was a black bean burger. I opted for the black bean burger on... More

This place charged me ELEVEN TIMES for my $79.56 dinner. Over $875!! I had to open three different claims with my credit card company who says Brass Tacks won't respond to. I've called them and spoke to someone there who says she gets other calls like this. They claim to have no managers work on site and just take down... More

Went here for lunch the other day and both me and my boyfriend throughly enjoyed our meals. Service was really great, we got there right as they were opening so everything was quick and friendly. The food was delicious, they were nice and checked to see if the bread was vegan (So appreciated) and made me a nice little veggie... More
