We visited Alexandria Bay in late August, 2006, and decided to eat at Capt. Thomson's after viewing it from a boat tour. This is the third time we have eaten at this floating resturant and it would seem the time for a new chef is near. Salad was wilty and had been sitting out all afternoon. seafood fettucini came to the table cool and went back to the kitchen, returned to the tabele in the same cool state. Just returned from a trip to Alexandria Bay in the Thousand Islands Region. It was our anniversary and all the advertising pointed us to Capt's Landing in the Captain Thomson's Resort, the only floating restaurant in the 1000 Islands. We returned for our 5th year in a row, clean, king size bed, room on the main channel, Rendevous Package, took dinner cruise on the Uncle Sam, enjoyed every minute. more
