Casual, waterside dining at the James Street Dock. What better way to experience waterfront dining than to sit amongst the docks in this bustling resort community. The menu offers something for everyone, although when the smoker is fired up, it's hard to resist ordering some BBQ. A favorite with boaters and locals alike.

While in Alex Bay recently for the Boldt Castle Wine/Farmers Market festival we made our way off the boat to find a lunch spot to eat outside in Alex Bay. We found this cute little place at the end of the road/pier area. It looked good and had quite a bit of people so figured this would be a good... More

Great meal, casual atmosphere, friendly service. Love view of bay from outside deck and later from inside restaurant. Plan to come back soon.

We had several dishes while here and I enjoyed the roast beef on Kimmelwich, delicious & tender & plentiful. The server was very attentive , great place to eat,.

Awful. In a word... Location does not compensate for poor food. If you consider an angled view of the municiple dock a view, .... Menu is unimaginative and mundane...at best. BBQm the "specialty"...mushy...steamed?????? Sauce poor...seasoned fries...better to use as bait for a catfish.. Haddock...a "filet" was three chunks...obviously running low on a busy night. The "yellow rice" looked like sushi... More

First time back to Alex Bay in 20 years. Quality BBQ joint. Try the Chicken BBQ egg rolls. They look funny, but they're a winner. Friendly staff too.

I wish I listened to my husband when I ordered the calamari, he said " it will probably be from a frozen box" well it was too salty & over fried, next we both ordered the Great lake perch, when it came I could tell it was cut up ocean perch (Huge difference in taste) took one bit it was... More

We walked around the corner from our hotel to have what we hoped would be a yummy BBQ dinner. Since I rarely finish a meal we split a full rack of ribs. I ordered a salad with Thousand Island dressing of course, hubby had the roasted corn chowder which could have been hotter (temperature not spice). The ribs came out... More

This place has a limited menu, very carnivore oriented. However the smoked ribs were better than the dinosaur. Loved the Coleman barbecue sauce. The fresh caught blackened perch was good as well. The bar disappointed a bit as the server didn't know what a daquiri was and that was a craving. View from deck made up for any faults.

Went up to Alexandria Bay for the day with my wife, son and his friend. Before heading back home we stopped at Coleman's. The location was nice. They definitely need more people working. We waited to be seated for about 10 minutes and waited another 15 just to order. The food we ordered wasn't so good. My wife and kids... More
