The french eat here as well, what else is there to say :-)

We hopped over for lunch after a shopping session at Udon centre mall (walking distance). We had salad and freshly made ravioli, which was delicious, finished it off with excellent fruit ice. The restaurant setup itself is simple, and outside there is the street noise. Service is friendly and a... read more

Well lets face it, Udon is not the place to get Italian ingredients at a reasonable price, though the new Royal shop in Central has an array of good vegetables like fennel and European eggplants, , but the chef knows how to compensate and I admired his elan.

Staff surly and no delivery service, even 300 yards to hotel. Pizza nothing special, tasted like your standard frozen base.

I ordered pizza (cheese only) and my friend a pasta dish. Both were reasonably prepared, especially the pizza (only 160 baht). We had house red wine with our dinner. The wine was drinkable but nothing special, but then the price was very affordable. The entire meal, including the wine, was 500 baht. I have no right to complain, and I'm... More

Close to the shopping mall there is this oasis of tranquillity. About 32 seats inside, 16 outside in the covered area. Clean, well decorated restaurant. The pure Italian owner gives advise, prepares the meals of which many are based on home-made pasta. Extensive menu, special of the day and suggestions. After an excellent tuna salad I had the home-made gnocchi... More

Had an unplanned night stop in Udon Thani and ended up a this tiny restaurant by chance (I like Italian food). The place is no frills, lacks atmosphere and the (French?) owner sits in the far left corner busy with some paperwork. The menu is a cheap worn plastic document holder and the rest room is right next to the... More
