Really great food and wonderful service!

I love going to the book house for both western and thai food, the menu is huge and you're never disappointed! It's at a great location right in front of a lake and I love the design of the place! We got here and a regular customer gave us the menus and took our order. It seemed they were understaffed. There were many items on the menu. We ordered a Ribeye Steak, Steak sandwich, and a Mixed Berries Shake. The steak was not bad, but the steak sandwich was terrible--too salty and also too sweet. The shake was also way... More

Called in a couple of days ago. In the absence of the owner the service was poor and I had an unacceptable wait for my food of over 40 minutes. In addition the advertised free wi fi was not available. I was told by the staff that the bill had not been paid. On a good day this is a... More

The Bookhouse has an the best western food in Udonthani. The menu is huge. Everything is amazingly delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you're a farang and missing food from home you got to try it. You'll become a regular in no time. The staff is very friendly and can speak English, too.

I absolutely LOVE the Bookhouse! The menu is huge...with lots of Western and Thai options. The food is absolutely delicious and for a great price, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is wonderful. If you're eating in Udon, the Bookhouse is the place to go! One of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

Great Selection of food drinks and alcohol anytime of the day. Had buffet at a fancy hotel and ended up missing this place. Right in front of the lake, easy to find, full and satisfied everytime at reasonable price for international menu. Forget the hotel meals and buffet, the bookhouse is the place to go.

Menu is so big they always seem to be out of items. Wait time for orders is too long, for average food. However they have a delightful view overlooking Nong Sim. Mostly Farangs enjoying this place

Visited the bookhouse again for some special grub.Found it just ok,breakfast was ok,two of us had steak but the two plates couldn't be more different,my steak was half the size of my friends and just about ok. The overall shine has gone and the place was always empty when we visited, still ok but just that I am afraid
