Popped in for a takeaway pizza very early on evening . The staff were lovely and I was the only one there so had them all helping me . I ordered the pizza and cold drink to have whilst I waited . It's genuine wood fire pizza so does not take long. The pizza was tasty and I would go... More

Some month ago I had a Pizza from Modena which was brillliant. Now I went there late night to share a pizza with a friend and the pizza was really bad and for what it was overprized. On top of this the restaurant itself is not really nice. There are better choices in Rawai and Naiharn. I will not return.

We went during low season and the staff was very attentive as we had the whole place to ourselves. Drinks were cold and prompt as was the pizza which was the only food we ordered. A genuine wood burning oven had our pie ready in under 7 minutes with a nice char underneath. The crust had a chew to it... More

I was in Rawai with 4 friends in Dec 2013 and we decided to take a break fro Thai food for a couple of days. We were all keen to eat some Pizza and so we decided to check out Moderna having read positive reviews on tripadvisor. Although the decor is fairly basic, it has a cool ambience to it... More

Was really looking forward to a pizza or some Amatriciana the second was a no go. The pizza was very bland and not worth a repeat. My wife had spag seafood. The portion was big and she initially was going to take home in box. Half way through she decided not to worry. The search continues.

Stop in for a late dinner. Place my order with the waitress, 15 minutes later my meal arrives. As soon as my meal is placed on the table I reconfirmed if it was correct. The waitress says yes. Ask for the bill, pay, then the owner who prepared my meal and cashes out all receipts, the restaurant is open so... More

After 6 days of Thai we were hanging out for something different... We stumbled upon Modena Pizza at about 8.30pm and I am so glad we did! 270 baht for a huge pizza, plenty for 2. Service was quick and the pizza delicious! Wood fired pizza served within 5 mins and made to order. Fresh ham, large chunks of chicken... More

On day 6 of our holiday we decided we couldn't eat any more Thai food and found this slice of pizza heaven. Cheap and delicious!! Cafe style wood fire pizza with real ham and mozzarella, big chunks of chicken and fresh pineapple. Great food. From Mangosteen Resort driveway, turn right, at the end of that road turn right again and... More

Actually named Modena Pizza. How to get there: find route 4233 on Google maps, turn east onto 4009 Sai Yuan (same street as l'orfeo restaurant), follow the street and it will curve left/north, continue straight for aprox. 200m and Modena will be on your right. There's a large sign. If coming from the main north/south road along the east coast,... More
