Great!

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food at Po is really excellent and ridiculously cheap (90 Baht for Pad Thai) - they also have a 10% discount on all food at the moment, probably because it's low season. The staff are really friendly and polite. It's at the bottom of the... read more

Following my disappointment finding out that the Grand Restaurant has changed owner since my last trip I was keen to find a Thai Restaurant that would satisfy my taste buds. We ate here two years ago and was impressed so decided to give it another try after average meals at other establishments. My sons choice actually! What can I say,... More

Mama cooked excellent vegetarian dishes and obliged to even clean the wok before cooking. This to me was an excellent gesture. The food was tasty and was not too spicy. Tried 2 - 3 dishes and all of them were good. The food is a little pricey, but that is the case in most of Phuket I believe.

Tasty and well priced, good service and a nice walk to and from the Avista. Ate there regularly and even started to get takeaways on the bike when the kids were too tired to tackle the walk.

Had dinner here twice. Not only was the food great but Mama made us feel like home. How she managed to cook the food, entertain the guests and play with our 2 year old boy and any other little boy or girl in the place is still a mystery. Had a great fish, and some small lobsters, both recommended. So... More

Mam is so friendly, and a great source of local knowledge. Where else can you find a restaurant where the owner says 'tell me what you want to eat and I will cook it for you'!

first time we visited over mamas we were alittle suspicious, but after lunch we all had same thoughts "delicious and best food in Kata". Staff really friendly and warm. Gave our 1 year old son everytime something to play with and what took with us. I recommend Red curry, what a beautiful dish. Definetly going to visit again and again.

Po'restuarant is the last restaurant on the left before the climb up to avista hotel. Don't be put off by the appearance because the food is gorgeous. Mama works front of house and cooks, she is a delightful woman who makes each visit feel special. We visited every day even if only for a drink before the big climb up... More
