Ok food!

Pizza in Thailand? Normally we always eat local food, but after a hard trekking of two days we felt the need for comfortfood :-) very friendly welcoming and service and we tried the pizza. It was ok, but nothing special.

Found a gem in a town with 1 fuel station and 3 sets of traffic lights. Had the cheesy garlic bread and an Italiana Pizza on a home made base. Real home made pizza!!

Firstly I'd like to say that all the ladies working in here were really lovely and friendly, true Thai hospitality. The food I tried was good and the fruit shakes were a bonus. Thai food is also served so you have the best of both worlds too.

We ate here for dinner recently after seeing it in LP. I had pasta with mushroom cream sauce and my husband had fettuccine pesto. Both were acceptable but not amazing. I added a good deal of salt and pepper to mine, although the homemade noodles had a pleasant texture. My husband was less thrilled about his pesto. The service was... More

Garlic bread was the BEST I've had in Southeast Asia, and the pizza was delicious and cheap! Service was wonderful as well, the ladies that worked there were very nice and accommodating. Definitely stop by for some food on your trip to Mae Hong Son!

Wanted something within walking distance to where I was staying. Menu looked good with a few items catching my eye. Always worry though of empty restaurants, though it was late, mid week, and off season. Ended up ordering both a pasta dish and pizza. Both were a little more than I wanted to spend, and a little more than they... More

My expectations were modest given that we were in Mae Hong Son -- and my skepticism proved to be unfounded. I had an excellent calzone that wouldn't have been out of place in Boston. La Tasca is modest in size and has a rather modest menu, but what this restaurant does, it does very well. Recommended if you need a... More

Don't bother with the veg pizza, especially if you add blue cheese to it. base was too thick and bread like. Stir fried vegetables were awesome. ask for not much oil.

La Tasca is a great little find in Mae Hong Son. It's just across the street from the Postoffice and Night Market and next to 7eleven. La Tasca serves pizza's, pasta's and Thai food. It's all very good. I've also got a very good tip for desert. Have a coffee and bananacake! The bananacakes aren't on the menu. La Tasca... More
