Don't think about it. Just get it. Mangosteen is delicious, and the menu has a lot to offer. There's a whole section devoted to mozarella sandwiches- even one with bacon! But there's no competition for the mozzarella chicken. Its a huge chicken breast with plenty of cheese melted on a baguette. We got one for lunch, then the next day... More

We had the platter which was well presented with some nice food. The shakes are good and there are plenty of books to look at.

The cheese and apple salad... Amazing. Service was great. Western service and etiquette. (i.e drinks first, starters came as starters, etc). The establishment grows many of their own produce. Had spicy Isaan sausage here for the first time and it was great. The portions are decent sized and the food very good. We ordered a number of dishes and, as... More

Good experience, however: portions are much smaller than on the menu images. Quit friendly staff. We took two omelets and three coffee for 300 baht.

This was by far the best restaurant we ate at during our 2 night stay in Kanchanaburi in terms of food quality. The road that it is on is lined with with restaurants. Most are open-faced, as in they have a garage style door that is open and thus use fans instead of AC. Mangosteen however is enclosed, has good... More

A good introduction into Thai food for beginners. I can't think of anything bad to say about Mangosteen, the place is very inviting and informal with books to buy, rent or read . Nat, the lady whose business it is,is lovely and now,she and her husband have opened a very smart restaurant across the river. This is a bit more... More

Different from other restaurants in that it is modern, bright and uncluttered in appearance. Service was good and friendly. Loved the little book shop look at the entrance.... unusual. The food has a modern Western slant to it which made it different from traditional Thai food. It is more pricey than the going rate and portions are smaller. It is... More

We came for lunch before we left Kanch. Based on that I wish we could of had an evening meal here because the food was lovely, and it has a fairly good vibe. It was a tad more expensive than other places but very good food indeed.

Open from 11:30am-10:00pm. Go by car put GPS: Thai garden in Is nearby. Or if you can't find just put in GPS:14.033095 99.511756 Call 034511814

Great food for all budgets. Polite staff. Remember to leave a tip! The mozzarella sandwiches are to die for, and the fruit shakes are one of a kind.
