Very disappointing buffet. Nowhere near Dusit standard

I have been a big fan of the Dusit chain for many years. I use to come to Dusit Hua Hin every week many years ago. I came back for a week (already review the hotel) and did try the lunch buffet on Sunday The buffet was such a disappointment both for the quality of the food and the choice... read more

I visited this hotel restaurant with my family on Monday. There was a great range if food available from sushi, smoked salmon, lobster. To roast beef, roast turkey or roast salmon. The quality was exceptional and you could eat all you want. Table service was very good. I would recommend trying this restaurant.

The Sunday lunchtime buffet, from midday to 3pm was a very relaxing way to eat. There were many appetisers, main courses and desserts on offer. Something for everyone, all well presented and delicious. The staff were attentive and the whole dining area was spotless. Apart from the buffet, a regular menu was offered too, which was used by the tables... More

When in this area (Cha am & Hua Hin), we visit this restaurant weekly. Our only other every-week (or more) meals are at the Sheraton. The main areas are pure luxury, with a huge and gorgeous lobby plus very nice pool and grounds. There's ample parking and the entrance, on the main road, is easy to find (unlike the Marriott,... Dusit Thani hotel, Hua Hin, is a luxurious paradise and is one of the most famous and best hotels in the area. Living in a residence nearby and working in the area, I had been there quite a few times to attend ceremonies and seminars and I had the chance to enjoy delicious buffets specifically prepared for those events. I... More

I used to frequent the Sunday buffet, which was good value for money. Today's Christmas buffet was remarkably similar to the brunch I remember, save the price, which was more than 50% more expensive than the regular buffet. The Xmas cracker did not justify the additional price.

We have been going to the seafood BBQ buffet at rim talay for many years. Last year we noticed that it was not as good as usual. This weeks visit was extremely disappointing. A lot of the food was inedible, such as the oysters. The seafood had all been frozen and was mushy and lacked flavor. Even the salads were... More

My first impression of the hotel (lobby, grounds, pool and the restaurant) is that it's simply impressive. Staff spoke good English, they are warm and polite. It was before lunch time when I came here for some pastries and cup of tea. The restaurant has some good selection of pastries, doughnuts, bread, scones and chocolates. They even have a selection...
