Was there yesterday night. Had the fantastic pork knuckle, german sausage platter and frog's leg. Was down with a tall glass of German beer. The pork knuckle meat was succulent and was so delicious.... the sausages were so tender .... oh the frogs legs were very good too... The owner Mr Jahn was also very humble and friendly. The prices... More

we are consider regulars and we mostly enjoy the quality of the food the friendliness of the owners and the overall service. Sometimes it might take a bit longer to get the main dishes out but that is due to the reason that the place will be full and most people will have arrived and ordered at the same time.... More

Our first visit tonight and they had schnitzel as their Monday special. You can choose from Chicken, Pork or Veal and it comes with hot and crispy french fries, a huge jug of delicious gravy and help yourself from the delicious salad bar. An ice cold German beer and soda water with apple juice... and a total bill under 500... More

I was very happy to find gap's place. We took the schnitzel. The plate was very full even if not amazingly tasty. German food is rarely fine of course. So nothing amazing aside from the size and quantity. The selection of beer is extensive and they are served the way it should be.

We came for two days in hat yai. After three thai meals accompanied by chang beers we decided to search for something more like home for me, offering western food and Belgian beers. We found this bar/restaurant on tripadvisor. It was not easy tofind it as noone was helpful in the area. However when we eventually found it, our long... More

I have eaten at Gap's several times. It is so nice to have decent cutlery to eat the excellent food. Every time the food has been first class. For lovers of German/Belguim beer, this is the place. A selection bar none. It can get very busy and sometimes you have to wait a while for your main course. This is... More

I went there with my boyfriend who is allergic to Wheat, Dairy products and red wine. The staff was pretty helpful with the information. Above great food and good ambience, attention to details of the owner and staff was the best part of our visit. They manage to create a gluten - dairy - red wine free dish that tasted... More

Having arrived with friends and being the stranger in the group, I was welcomed like an old family friend. Treated to excellent service, superb food, with all the dishes living up to the menu and so well priced. It is like being at a fiesta. Thank you very much for the experience.

Have been to this place many times and am.constantly disappointed. Very, very ordinary even on Thai standards.

First impressions upon walking in to the very large restaurant were good. My wife and I found a table inside and were about to sit when the owner said from behind the bar that this table was for four and that they were expecting to be busy tonight. He said we should find a table for two or sit outside!... More
