We ate here twice during a one week stay. Awesome setting and very good service. Mosquitos abundant near the river but the restaurant had Citronella burning to minimize the nuisance. Second time there we took a table on the back porch and still had a great view but did not have any problems with mosquitos. Food was awesome. We had... More

This place is fantastic to sit in the shade of the garden. I was rather disappointed however with the taste of the coffee and and banoffee cake I had. For such a upmarket place they were both rather bland and lacked character. The green tea was made with boiling water whereas this should be made with a lower temperature to... More

Dear Nico M, Thank you for coming to see us and for your kind words about our cafe. We are so sorry you did not enjoy your coffee and cake. Banoffee pie is by far our best selling desert item, that day we sold 97 slices and did not register any other complaints so we don’t think something happened in... More

Setting, service, food...all were spot on. However, it's a tad awkward to get to as it's on the north side of the bridge, just west of Hwy 1. But if you have your own wheels or you don't mind paying for taxis, this is definitely worth the extra baht. The desserts (real cream) and fancy fruit drinks were very good.... More

We stopped in here for dinner after massages at the spa next door (both under the same ownership). It was pretty busy with both locals and tourists, but one of the friendly servers seated us at a table indoors. The menu was a mix of western and local dishes. Both our entrees (eggs benedict and spaghetti with local chilies) were... More

Love the ambience, natural and rustic. Interesting decor. Sitting in the garden overlooking the river was serene and nice. There is a vegetable patch on the left side of the cafe, my 2 young ones absolutely love the 2 swinging chair at one of the table. Weather was cool and nice. There is wide selection on the drinks menu. When... More

Although invaded by the hi-so, selfie-flashing hordes from Bangkok, we had a good time here. There was plenty of outdoor seating and the food was actually tasty. This could so easily have turned into just a gimmick, but the owners seem to have genuine love and passion for what they do and it shows in what they serve.

When I saw the photos in tripadvisor, I knew that this is my kind of cafe and we went immediately from the airport ( about 25 mins drive) before going to Viang Yonok hotel in Chiang Saen. It is as lovely as the photos. There are three kinds of dining areas-1) indoor with all the white furniture 2) by the... More

What a lovely place to have a coffee or a nice lunch at the riverside! A beautiful white wooden building on the river, surrounded by trees and plants, and extremely cosy decorated. Way over the top for any home, but perfect for this style of restaurant. Because it was extremely busy we had to wait quite a while for our... More

Great food Beautiful decor We had Christmas lunch here and it was excellent. They have a boat you can use if you want to go out on the river. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Lots of little dogs :) we would certainly come back here!
