Cheap and Cheerful

Easy to find on the main road on the opposite side to the night market. We had lunch here with drinks which we found to be tasty and inexpensive. The restaurant offers a no fuss pleasant experience allowing you to sit back and take in your surroundings.

We come here as 2nd choice after the Hungry Wolf is full housed, so we were a little skeptical that its not that good, but we were wrong. To start with, our orders were swift inspite of the non-availability of some beers on the menu (they have a lot of types of beers). Wagyu steak was there as an offerings,... More

Spacious, comfortable and large menu. Friendly staff and very friendly owner who I chatted with. Prompt service. i could go on, but let's just see I found it a very nice place to eat and the food I chose was VG.

Great food and good selection of beer. The Best beef in town! Also, They make a great Pina Colada in a fresh coconut. A great Choice just near the Night market.

We asked twice to order they ignored us When ordering we were told that it could be some time before our food arrived. We said anything ove an hour & we would leave as there were not too many people in the restaurant. They did not have what I wanted & then recommended that higher priced Grill. Ended up having... Visited twice for drinks and appetizers. Friendliest people I've met in Thailand! Not only are they friendly, they apparently remembered us from the day before. We walked out without our change on the precious visit. The staff saved Our change for us and returned it on 2nd visit. Great quality food and service.

We were a party of 4, our first night in Chiang Rai, tired from travelling so found what looked to be food for everyone. 3 meals were delivered, the 4th never came! They ran out of squid. It was hard getting service, and expensive for what it was. The live music was good, but only 1 hour.

Not so friendly staff, subpar food (I ordered a baguette and it was half done), long wait times, and poor service. Wifi is also terrible here, which was frustrating for me since I came specifically for the wifi and had asked before being seated how the wifi would be. And on top of that you get a pretty heavy bill... More

Although this place is quite pricey for Thailand, I would still recommend it. Go for the Thai dishes though. I don't understand why people from the western world come all the way here and then order a steak? Try the local food! The Paneng Salmon is to die for! If I ever come back to Chiang Rai I'll definitely come... More

Very disappointed with this place, was way too expensive for what you get, also waiting half an hour for a sandwich is mad. Ive had much nicer food for less money.
