We visited Smile Restaurant on the recommendation of other travellers and were not disappointed. The food was fresh, delicious and well presented. We booked early and very glad that we did as there were many turned away as there were no tables and the owner did not want people to wait too long. Would recommend Smile to anyone who wants... More

This place is a must. Food is the best, service is brilliant and prices are very reasonable. Frank (the owner) is an absolute legend. my wife had mentioned to him that it's my birthday when we were booking it and he went out of his way and got me a cake which he brought out after dinner while singing happy... Deliciously fresh ingredients and wonderfully personalised service. Frank's passion for great service and his wife's attention to detail in the kitchen had us going back for a second night during our week long stay. Many thanks for two terrific meals. Toni

Went to this restaurant on Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed! We hadn't booked and as they close for end of season on 12th Sept we were lucky to get a table! The French host is fabulous and welcoming! They come out to your table to show you the dishes they have on offer which we thought was a... More

We enjoyed our experience at Smile. In fact went there twice. We were initially disappointed as there wasn't a lot of Thai dishes but the few they had were good. I particularly loved the glass noodles with shrimp and the thom yam soup. The mango shakes were yummy. One thing for sure is the seafood is fresh unlike some of... More

Don't expect 100% Thai cuisine here - definitely a Euro-twist (mozzarella in the spring rolls - but it works.) This sort of thing seems to be popular with a lot of the visitors around here, but maybe not quite our thing. However all the food was of excellent quality, and very well prepared. The host is eccentrically, joyously French with... More

A very busy little resteraunt, even in the low season. My wife had a lovely Thai green curry. Very impressed with the food. Maybe could have done with one more member of staff to wait on, but that is being a bit picky maybe, the owner did take the trouble 2 or 3 times to converse with us which was... More
