If you come to Khaolak I recommend Sakai Bar. You just to test cocktail at there. And you can do many activities such as table football ,table pool.

Sakai bar is a really great place to hang out, even though the drinks are a bit more expensive than in other bars - it's really worth it!! The music there is great and you get good snacks (like roasted nuts and some crisps). I read in an other review that someone complained about the chairs- here's what we think... More

We stopped here for a rest primarily, it was hot and humid and we needed shade and a beer. Set on the southern end of the main road thru town, it was a great spot to sit, relax, sip ice cold beer and watch the Thai lifestyle drive, walk, speed and scooter by. The team were helpful (rearranging the cooling... More

We called in here almost every night for a great atmosphere with music (a couple of nights was live, with a guitar player) a pool table, and 99 baht cocktails. Friendly staff and very relaxed atmosphere.

As we were staying just over the road from Sakai Bar we sometimes visited for a final drink before retiring for the night. Free pool table for those who enjoy a game and some decent music to listen too. Staff were helpful and the cocktails were not too bad either!!!

This lateish opening bar is a nice place to stop for a beer or a very reasonably priced cocktail. What made it for us was the gallant attempts of the singer guitarist to murder a range of middle of the road anthems. We should not really have been amused but sorry it was impossible not to laugh. Check this dude... More

A wonderful place to sit and relax with a cool cocktail and music. The staff and owner are the friendliest people to meet. Now they are friends on facebook. :-)

The word Sakai, in thai, means origin people. Basically that is what Sakai bar is, origin and original. I have been to khao lak for three years straight.
