We has the nachos to start. Nice but we should of added the cheese. Home made salsa was lovely. Quessadillas where really tasty and hubby enjoyed his fajitas. Very enjoyable alternative to Thai food.

We arrived early for dinner and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The staff were friendly and attentive and particularly made our children welcome. The home made tortillas were a real treat - all the food was fresh and cooked well. The sizzling fajitas were delicious as were the burrito and quesadillas. It was fun to finish our evening with... Like the others say it's a good break from Thai food. Friendly service and good quality mexican. Good cocktails. We had the fajitas and con carne and both were very good.

Did not expect such authentic Mexican, but we were all pleasantly surprised. Great service, food, margaritas and a visit from a baby elephant entertained the kids. Would highly recommend.

We had a great night here. Laid back bar, great tunes, down to earth staff. Fajitas were sizzling and tostado bowl fresh and crispy. Impressed with house made black beans and salsas. A treat to have Mexican this good in a Thailand. Definitely pop in when in Khao Lak.

I never would of thought of eating Mexican in Thailand, but after reading the good reviews on Tripadvisor, my wife and I had to give it a go. We certainly weren't disappointed! after eating non-stop Thai food (which I love)for over a week, it was nice to try something different. We had nachos and tacos and I would have to... More

What a fantastic experience! So glad we took the opportunity to visit the Rusty Pelican whilst in Khao Lak. We were after a break from Thai food but were incredibly surprised by how amazing the food here was. The quesadillas were out of this world, without doubt the best Mexican dish I have ever had. We also had the chilli... More

I used to think Rusty Pelican's nachos were the best in Thailand, but after my latest visit they were even tastier than last time - how is this even possible?...so they must be the best in the world! For the second year running we hired a driver for the day to bring us up from Phuket to KL just to... More

Mo and his wife created a very nice place in Khao Lak for everybody. Authentic Mexican food in a caring atmosphere. The menus is small but great because of that. You can come any time of the Day and you can enjoy nice drinks and a great talk to the owner. Khao lak does not have a huge variety of... More
