Expensive and dissppointing

We went for supper. It was busy. The prices are on the high side. No coolers for your beer bottle which soon got warm. The waitresses were not welcoming and there is 10% added irrespective of the service. As my beer was spilt on the table by the waitress we added no further tip. This was not... read more

Wine and pizza, usual italian fare but with a high standard and clearly loved by the Italian proprietor.

First of all, I don't have a preference for bland foods. I like foods with a variety of textures and flavors, foods that entice the taste buds. It doesn't have to be spicy to be delicious, but it does have to have flavor. The pizza we ordered at this place had neither and interesting texture nor flavor. However, if you... More

We visited this restaurant a couple of times during our stay in Khaolak. The pizzas are excellent and seafood pasta very good too. If you want a change from Thai food this is just perfect. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

I have visited this place for a second time even though our first visit was just okay as far as food is concerned but we somehow liked the atmosphere. This time we have decided for different dishes and they were very delicious. I didn't feel well that evening because of headache and blocked ears after diving and asked the owner... More

Pinocchio's has a great location on the corner and it looks good. The food was very enjoyable, the service was so so, the staff don't seem to be happy pretty sure they wouldn't care if you were there or not. The second time we went there sat for 10 minutes trying to make eye contact to order ended up leaving... More

Nothing bad to say about the food. It was just very average and pricey. Not the best pizza to have in Khao Lak. Pasta was ok. Didn't try any of the main courses so they might be the secret the place being full every night. I was expecting more.

A good pizza needs a good oven. This place has a good oven but the seafood pizza I had was decent but not what I expect from a restaurant who has chosen this name and certainly not for the prices that were charged. The mozzarella salad had a strange dressing that contained balsamic but was not very nice. Maybe a... More

Desperately needed a break from Thai food (lovely though it is!) so gave this place a try. A little more expensive than most of the local places, but good food, and the service was pretty good too. Also some nice wines at a reasonable price. The owner is from Napoli, and made a point of speaking to each table to... More
