The people are nice, the restaurant is relatively clean, but the food just doesn't do it for me. In all honesty, I would have rather saved the money and instead made a PB&J at home. There are plenty of other places in the area if you are looking for a western meal. I would give them a shot first.

I've eaten here a few times and it is always s pleasant experience. I must admit i have only had three dishes which is the roast beef dinner, the english breakfast and eggs benedict with bacon. All three dishes i highly recommend although my favorites are the first two ;~)

Good bread can be hard to find in Taichung but is plentiful at Finga's Basic decor, nothing fancy but the food is good. I enjoyed the spaghetti when I needed a familiar taste.

Fingas has a great selection of popular western foods including burgers, deli sandwiches, Italian pasta dishes and Mexican food. They also serve breakfast and have a simple but to the point one page breakfast menu. One of my breakfast favorites is their Eggs Benedict. They also have their own homemade ice creams and sorbets which are international standard quality. They... More

Good place to go if you fancy a burger! You can find burgers anywhere in taiwan, but here you can find a GOOD burger! Really good little bakery attached that sells wonderful bread and a few imported items. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Really good.

A few of the workers can speak English here and there is an English menu. They are really accommodating and if you live in Taichung, they will take requests!

Is it a bakery, grocery store, a deli, or a cafe? Yes! It is all of them. This fun little place is owned by a Kiwi. If you are a foreigner, and you need that last ingredient for a recipe, or you have to have a Reubun sandwich go to Fingas. I even bought my Christmas turkey here one year.... More

There's a reason Dereke has had the best expat dining in Taiwan for over two decades. High quality is the special of the day everyday. The Italian food is good, fantastic deli sandwiches, and Mexican food that you'll blog about. The atmosphere and service are above the norm. Good place for expats who are having difficulty navigating local menus, or... More

Casual atmosphere....finally Dry Red Wine that was NOT chilled. Near Uzo's and Early Bird Diner. Has such a variety of dishes like Mexican dishes, filet mignon, meatloaf, salmon, reuben, grilled chicken breast sandwich, hamburgers, and gourmet salads. The service was not great...but the food Certainly made up for it. I will definitely go back and try other things on thier... More
