Went here on our first night in Sri Lanka and weren't disappointed! We had a curry with prawns and the chicken cordonbleu with croquets, both tasted good and the portions were big. Combined with a cold beer/fruit shake makes this place recommendable!

I visit this place yesterday with 5 of my family members. Ordered one SEAFOOD chopsuey rise with several other dishes... Funny waiter bought a VEGITABLE chopsuey PORTION. Then we had to order another vegetable rice plate to eat with that chopsuey. Service was slow. Fried fish was NOT FRESH ***AT ALL*** & overcooked to hide that. French fries were cold.... More

I have heard Coconut primitive praised many times but i have yet to have a really good meal in there. I have tried more than once and been disappointed. The staff are friendly but slow and the food is really not worth the wait. We ordered spaghetti Carbonara and a traditional Sri Lankan curry. Spaghetti Carbonara - most restaurants can... More

Even though the prices were just above average the food ws really good. The seafood pizza was the best out of the dishes we ordered. Perfect joint for a casual hangout with family or friends. Randall

You know a good restaurant when its packed with locals. The curry and rice option we picked was much, much more than we expected and such good value for money. A fusion of flavours across several dishes with a range of hotness made this a memorable experience that I am very keen to repeat one day...

We went here for my Husband's Birthday Dinner with my Family. I just chose this place trusting one of my friend's comments. It was great. Food was delicious. Yummy and fresh from stoves. Lighting and table setting should be improved a bit. Trust me food was so much worth of money we paid. Staff can be more helpful they need... More

Been here many many times. Keep coming back. Not only because of the excellent food, but also because the friendly staff. Been in Sri Lanka 7 times now and I keep coming back to this restaurant. I am not connected to them, but after so many times I feel connected to the staff. Lalith, Gino, Shehan, I consider them to... More

I have been using this restaurant for the last three years. It is a good place in which to see both locals and tourists mingle in a friendly atmosphere with reasonable prices. One of my favourite dishes is battered prawns whilst a favourite dessert is banana fritters. There are now two restaurants of the same name in the same street. The best... More

Loved the spicy prawn soup! Like most restaurants in Sri Lanka they are used to serving tourists very mild curry so if you like us love the original homegrown stuff make sure to clearly request spicy curry!
