This family owned restaurant on Peddar Street is my favorite affordable place to eat in Galle Fort. Yes they take a few minutes extra to get the food out to you but I think the flavors, not too much use of coconut milk, great prices and a menu that offers good choices for both SL and western food make the... So good to find a curry in Sri Lanka that's not just coconut cream! We asked for extra spicey and got amazing green chillies in it. Very fast excellent value for money. Love not only the meat curry but also came with pumpkin eggplant beans and cabbage currys! Would def go back

After reading several reviews we decided to have breakfast here. The food is good and plenty with fruits, bread and drink. However, they don't provide a refill even we wanted some milk for tea. The owner always told us this is a portion and no more. But some other review says the owner gave them additional juice. I hope... More

We ate here one evening after reading some of the reviews on here. I have to say this casual looking cafe was a lovely surprise..we were served tea in perfect white China, and also enjoyed, chicken curry, prawn curry, radish, cabbage, beetroot, and two other veggie curries with rice and poppadoms! They were lovely, and not all heavy with coconut... More

We went to Cafe Punto based on the great reviews on Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. We went back there as the breakfast was so good, we got plenty of it and it felt honest. I asked what kind of juice I could get and the owner walked up to a bowl filled with fresh fruit, picked up some of... More

I almost came here everyday in 3 days. The breakfast is so good and diversified and not expensive at all(550r) and the curry and rice is awesome. The seafood one is less than 700r. And they don't charge service fee. If you eat near the fort, this could be your one of the best choices. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious. The curry was to die for, amazing flavours and choice. The western breakfast filled us for the full day. Really good prices and a run by a lovely family. Looks really simple from the outside but truly a gem !

We had the same experience as the previous reviewer - even with no electricity, we were served cold drinks and ruce and curry. The food was good, not memorable but just good. The staff were very friendly and polite. Nice ice tea. Recommended.

If you are looking to try a Sri Lankan breakfast, look no further than this small café on Peddler's St. Tried a few others on our trip but this was streets ahead of the rest.. It does get noisy though, when kids are being dropped off at the school across the street, or are going on a break- Can't remember... More
