Was here 1/23/13. Hotel going through major renovation. Kelsey's is going to close. They are going to have a lobby lounge?? Staff friendly, trying to make the best of it. Food is eatable. Just a hotel bar, with bar food, nothing great.

So I needed a place for dinner while in Albany on business and checked the reviews which seemed to indicate the food was okay. Come on people. While the service was very nice the food was absolutely terrible. Ordered a hot turkey panini and it was stone cold, soggy, and a bit scary. It looked like it was cooked on... More

My chicken picatta special was room temperature when it arrived. The rice was clearly microwaved and the asparagus was barely cooked. Definitely wouldn't recommend. The only bright spot was the service which was very good.

My wife, son and I all ate here. The food was great. I enjoyed the salmon sandwich. My wife liked the steak sandwich. My son really liked the kids nachos. The bar advertised Bass Ale, but no longer carried it. Otherwise, a nice meal.

Walk into Kelsey's and Manuel the bartender will make you feel like it's your hometown favorite. Great drink, good food and friendly conversation. What's better?

This restaurant is part of the Hotel Albany, which is currently undergoing renovations. In its current incarnation, the restaurant is worn, but like everything else in this hotel, the staff makes your visit worthwhile. Although the menu is a bit limited, it is extremely well executed and an excellent value.

Food was good it was a good Kelsey’s but I am not big on chains. My husband had the special and coconut almond encrusted tilapia it was very good. The kids’ fish fry looked like a frozen peice of fish but the kids liked it. The tartar sauce was very good.

Just finished eating at kelsey's. I had the delicious chicken corn chowder and Caesar chicken wrap and both were very good. Soup was served very promptly. My friend had a hot pastrami sandwich and she saidnit was very very tasty! Our waiter was perfect and animated. He gave us separate checks without hesitation. Not loud, well lit at table but... Food and service are top shelf, the wait staff was attentitive and caring. The food was what I would expect at a more expensive resturant.

there was nothing here to like, it's dark and outdated , i know for a fact you get better food in jail. although the bartender did take my meal off the bill, it would not entice me to eat here again. in fact i wouldnt eat here if the food was free.
