My wife and I, usually with friends, visit often enough that most staff know us. But we don't regular places that we don't like or feel are only so-so. Fourth visit. Dover sole was dry and had too many bones, probably due to table side de-boning in too dim lighting. Bone in Filet almost raw for a medium request. Had to send back. Fish was taken off the check, but still disappointing. Server oversold deserts which were too big and he insisted we try the donut, tasty but we... More

I've been here a couple times with clients for work and have always had a very enjoyable time. The food has always been excellent and the staff very attentive. If you're in the Albany area for a special occasion and don't mind spending a little ching, I highly recommend Angelo's 677 Prime.

Ate twice at "677" and had a great meal both times. Service was appropriately attentive, intuitive, and discreet, Wine list has some lower-priced gems at prices you might expect from an upscale establishment. First meal was the Delmonico with various sides. Too large to finish (18 oz), I took it back to my hotel for later enjoyment. Next meal was... More

On the edge of downtown Albany is an unassuming building that houses a restaurant that dazzles. The room is lovely, the service impeccable, the food terrific. The prices might surprise you - it's Albany, not NYC! But if you can get past that, you'll find nothing else to complain about here.

Our waiter was wonderful and knowledgeable. Having been our first trip there, he was able to make wonderful recommendation and even brought out a sauce to compliment my lamb order (which was the best lamb I had ever had) simply because he thought I would enjoy it. And no, he didn't add that to my bill. We were able to... More

Incredible dining experiences at 677. Go find out what the fuss is about. They don't say no. They make it happen. It is expensive. It is worth it. WOW.

Where to begin? - perhaps the entrance w/the host that is unable to verify a reservation and its annoyed by patrons and cant seem to coordinate a seating chart. Then the wait for a server was a bit long, at-least greet the patron within the first 5 minutes. When finally arriving is unable to provide accurate list of featured entrees... More

Ive been here quite a few times, and each time I order way more food than I can handle. The steaks are really second to none; they do an absolutely fantastic job with them. The beef tartar was quite exceptional, and probably the best I've ever had. Last time I went, the bone marrow, while good, was a very small... More

I enjoyed my visit and the service was very attentive, but did not think it was as good as rated. The menu is varied and interesting but some of the dishes were subpar. The beef tallow fries sounded amazing but came out soft and mushy, not crispy as expected.
