Enjoyed the ambiance, food ok

We really liked the crowd here and they seemed very local and like they knew each other. The staff was friendly as well. The chili cornbread was a risky choice but turned out to be pretty good (my partner liked it a bit more than me) but the omelette a were very small in my opinion. I might give... read more

My wife and I were visiting Albany for the day. After sightseeing all day we were tired and hungry. Justin's was recommended by the desk staff at the hotel we stayed at. We wanted exactly what we got. A good meal at a nice relaxed community eatery. The place is small and the bartender friendly. We ate late afternoon, and... More

Definitely don't use a credit or debit card here. The staff double-charged me, swiped my credit card but promised me the "authorization" would disappear for a few days. It did, but then came back on my account about a month later. On top of it, management refused to refund me and made up a story about how the charge was... More

Went here after Lark Tavern was shut down due to a fight. Place was packed in with patrons but they played some really good hip hop so it was ok. Wall to wall movement and probably for the college crowd. Reminded me of when I was a young young man. Interesting and fun but not for the mature crowd I... More

I really enjoyed my burger at Justin's! I cant remember our servers name, but she kept great attention to our table in the back! The thing that stood out most to me, besides the atmosphere, was that when I asked for my burger medium rare, that was what I got. Time and time again when you order a burger medium... More

Been going here since they opened on and off. We live out of town. It used to be a classy place with great service. You could eat a good meal or have a few drinks and listen to jazz. I couldn't say how the service food or music was because there were 7 gangbangers blocking the door, smoking cigarettes and... More

I was staying downtown at the Hilton and decided I wanted to walk around a neighborhood strip. This Lark st looked good so after trying to decide where I wanted to eat I chose Justins. Big mistake. Food took forever and it was just horrible. Took a strangely long time to try and leave the place.

Had a late dinner at Justin's on Nov 24, 2013. Truly excellent food, prepared super well, served piping hot - yum! Friendly service. The problem? The bartender (in charge of music) likes rap. Now Justin's is a rather upscale restaurant, not quite as expensive as Jack's but nearly so. The decor is very nicely done, exposed brick, nice wooden tables... More

Monaca was the perfect hostess and server, the menu was plentiful as were the portions, and the meals were not only delicious but very creatively plated. Monaca very graciously and patiently returned to our table numerous times until we we were (finally) ready to order. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and were very impressed with the art selections on the... More

Hadn't been to Justin's in about a year...always thought of it as a venue for good & slightly creative food. In the past it had been a good place for talking, eating and making memories. The menu was pretty sedate. The room hot and not air conditioned. The staff was friendly. The room was half empty on a warm Friday... More
