Worth a visit!

Always a favorite for my husband. The food is delicious. Dinner at the Albany Pump Station followed by a show at Capital Rep makes a great night out!

What a wonderful place steeped in local history! The burgers were fabulous. Unfortunately they ran out of the two appetizers that our table wanted. But the waiter was very apologetic and made sure our drinks were always full. Desserts were definately the highlight of the night. We ordered four of them and were enchanted by all of them especially the... More

Good burgers. Energetic atmosphere and good service. Can't comment on beer as I don't drink it. Food is consistent.

First off wasn't overly impressed wither the beers. Had a funny aftertaste to them. The atmosphere is unique and is fun. Food was good but nothing to write home about. Had the cabbage rolls and perogies (out of the box). Ruined the cabbage rolls with the tomato sauce they used. To much Italian flavor to it. Portion size was good.... More

Overall my experience here was very good. The lobster Mac & cheese was amazing! Beer was good too. I'm reluctant to give it a 5 star rating, but definitely a good place to go and find something nice to eat

Once again, I'm giving 5 stars-not because it's an exclusive, fancy restaurant- but because, for a pub of its type, it's got great food, atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Our waitress was attentive, friendly & efficient (your mileage may vary). Interesting decor, plenty of parking, and extensive selection of really fine beers (of course).

We ate here while in the area on business and we were glad we did. This is an old pump house that has been converted to a brewery and restaurant, yet it still has a lot of the original industrial equipment still in it. It is an active brewery and has huge tanks of beer actively brewing. This place is... More

Had a group of 20+, with reservations and were seated in reasonable amount of time. However wait staff seemed overwhelmed. It seemed as if the seated several large groups and a few 8 table tops at the same time. I counted two wait staff had about 50 tops within 5 minutes. Understanding the overwhelming nature of that many different parties... More

We went to the Pump Station for dinner on Friday evening. Our waitress was good but the food barely adequate. I had a Rueben sandwich that had cold corn beef on grilled bread. Obviously slapped together by an untrained or uncaring cook. The other guests meals were marginally better.
