This is one of my favorite restaurants in Albany. I love the atmosphere, the menu and the food. I'm not a drinker, but my friends tell me the beer is great too.

The wait staff was extremely slow and seemed to disappear for very long periods of time. I ordered the pecan crusted chicken salad. The chicken was greasy and burnt, there was what appeared to be granola sprinkled all over the top, in excess. There was nothing about granola in the description. Overall, I would not go back. Another person in our... More

This is a very interesting place for a fun time. You get he ability to try different kinds of beer and the food is very well done. The place is loud and noisy due to the building and its historic construction of old factory style. Fun place for the young and the young at heart. Good times are had by... More

Love the pump station for their array of craft brews on tap! Always something new to try. Their food is limited due to dislike Of cheese however always find something new to try. Wish they would put their linguini with clam sauce as a permanent dish on their menu instead of a special. It's To die for!

I'm not a beer drinker but I'm always happy to go to the Pump Station. I've never been disappointed and my last trip was no exception. While my wife had the Pump Station Burger, I opted to branch out to the pulled pork sandwich. It is listed as being served on a garlic baguette but I saw no hint of... More

Six of us made the walking trek from the Plaza to this place - time for beer! The sampler was perfect and we added a bottle of the barrel aged IPA and another to complete their offerings for that day. All were good and different. Started with a cheese plate, pretty generous on this one, good beer cheese as well.... More

We enjoyed the atmosphere. The wait staff was pleasant and the food was very yummy. Great design inside and nice brick look outside. It attracted us as we were getting off the highway and we found it by walking about from our hotel.

The food here is good, but not very creative. The menu is interesting in that you can get various types of cuisine - Mexican, Mediterranean, steak, seafood - but nothing really jumps out at you as anything you couldn't get somewhere else.

We had a huge plate of the calamari for an appetizer. That was followed by three pump house burger and the Mediterranean sampler. That was to much food for the two of us. Each dish was excellent with large portions for the money. I tried the stout and brown ale which were both great.

I travel by myself for work and The Albany Pump Station is my go-to restaurant when I'm in town. Great service, great atmosphere, great food, great beer/whiskey selection. It makes me feel at home.
