We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions. The food quality has always been excellent! You really get a great meal for the price and the Evans brews are fantastic. The only drawback is that due to its popularity there is usually a delay for seating. But you can use the wait time to enjoy a brew before dinner.

We stopped for a light dinner, sat at the bar and loved everything that we had. The hot turkey sandwich with stuffing had didn't have that awful re-heated gaminess that so many restaurants end up with. The fish and chips were also very good.

Went to dinner w a few ppl from work. Got assorted apps. Clam dip and calamari were very good. Combo platter was overcooked. My eggplant lasagna was good but portion was small. Scallops and shrimp entrees were very good, but on the small side. Service was pretty good. We would of had another round if asked. The cook yelling, "It's... More

Downtown Albany for holiday festivities. Albany Pump Station has great food and a wide selection of great beers and wines. Their lobster mac and cheese has big chunks of lobster and a wonderful flavor. My salmon and gorgonzola was cooked just right, and tasted even better. A great place to be casual or fancy, take moment to sit in front... More

Located in an old converted pump house (surprise!), the interior of the restaurant is amazing, with a mix of the old machinery and brewing equipment, and high ceiling. The selection of beers on offer was great, the staff were friendly, and the food was good. Well worth a visit, if only just to see inside.

Stopped in on a Thursday night. Were quickly seated next to the front windows. It was freezing! Even the person across the table was cold. Food came out quickly and hamburgers were extremely dry. Refills on both our sodas were dreadful. One tasted like carbonated water and the other like uncarbonated syrup. We will not be back.

I've been here for lunch, dinner, and even a bridal shower. The food is consistently good, though not spectacular. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I'd like to see them update their menu more often, as I find myself not going here as much as I used to because I get bored.

We were looking for a place to eat while staying in the Albany area. We just happened upon The Pump Station. It was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. However, the busyness proved itself with very slow service. The food was good but nothing to write home about. The architecture (building conversion from a former pump... More

Started off with a cup of onion soup. Cup was small and loaded with bread. Hardly any soup. Diver scallops for main course were ok. Ordered ice cream for dessert. Once again, small portion size.
