very nice place, but you almost need someone to tell you about it. Very good food, service was good but a little slow, nothing that ruined the meal. Nice tasting food and generous portions at reasonable prices. I love Adrian food and am very picky about what I consider good Asian food, I lived 5 years in Asia and traveled... More

We met friends at Van’s Vietnamese Restaurant last night on Central Avenue. We had not been there in about a year. The food was excellent, as it always is. We had ginger salmon, chicken and shrimp in a curry sauce, and grilled sliced beef with rice noodles. They were all excellent! The server was very nice and gave us good... More

Finding your way there at night can be a bit much as you go through too many blocks of boarded up houses, depending on which way you come in. We started with the Goi Cuon - Summer Rolls - with Shrimp - fresh and tasty with sweet dipping sauce. We then had Goi Cuon, which is basically chicken with sriracha... More

I've read rave reviews about this place and have heard great things from friends so you can imagine my disappointment when I tried it out and thought it was terrible! Our waiter was very friendly and sweet but the food was so so bad! For an appetizer we ordered Canh Ga Tom Chien (Fried Stuffed Chicken Wings) -- I took... More

I have been craving Vietnamese lately and have been repeatedly told this is the place. I was relieved to find such amazing food so close to home. I had flank steak pho and spring rolls, and the flavors were as huge as the portions. The food was fantastic and I will frequent this place to satisfy my Vietnamese food itch

We went to Van's because of it's great reviews but I was disappointed...Ordered a barbequed pork chop with rice noodles....The pork chop was overcooked and tough and the noodles were cold enough for me to ask the waiter if they were meant to be that way. He said "no, they were supposed to be hot." When I asked him to... More

We had an early dinner here. The outside of the place does not do it justice as it doesn't look like much from the street. The staff is very friendly. The food was fantastic. We had spring rolls to start along with several main courses. I had the duck on the bone and it was as good as I've had... More

I just loved their food the first time i ate here... It is super spicy, super delicious and quantity is always *enormous*.. Save some space in the stomach after the soup serving...The Service is pretty good and in general takes the same amount of time for any dish (~15min). The prices i would say is appropriate.. it is not too... More

We shared a bowl of shrimp pho, and some fresh spring rolls, which was more than enough for a lunch for 2. Good service, good quick lunch.

We've been wanting to try Van's based on all the good reviews and I'm so glad we finally had a chance. We ordered all vegetarian and everything was delicious. The prices are very good. We are definitely looking forward to our next meal at Van's!
