We made our first trip to Sitar recently and it was well beyond expectations. The vegetable pekora appetizer was perfectly prepared. I had the Resma Kabob, which was tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. Companion had the Tandoor Sizzler, which is a sampler of tandoori cooking. She loved it. The Naan was light and fluffy. This is clearly one of the... More

As the title states, the food here will surely satiate the rumblies in your tumblies that only Indian can satisfy, but not much more. I found myself greatly desiring more heat and spices.

Definitely more money than most Indian restaurants in the area, but well-worth it--quality shows! Aloo Baignan unavailable elsewhere and the saag or jalfrazi dishes are superb.

Liked the food and the milieu. It's Pakistani run restaurant. They serve buffet, but it was evening at that time. We had a la carte. The kulfi ws just too good, but the rasomalai was not, rasomalai tasted more like tasteless rabri.

Went about 6:30PM Friday night. The restaurant was not too busy but we waited one hour for our food. They told us that they do a carryout business and phone orders are taken simultaneously with the restaurant clientele. It really was not worth the wait or the price.

Service was excellent, the food very good, I just found it very pricey---$18.50 per person for dinner which does not include anything but the dish itself. I went to the buffet once, not much of a selection.....will try other Indian restaurants in the area.

Three of us visited the restaurant, two of us had the specials and one a plain curry dish. My wife can't eat lamb which made up part of the special so without any hesitation, the waiter said he would have it replaced with chicken Tikka. The food arrived and was excellent. The specials contained several meat items along with vegetable... More

Food was great. The owner is very pleasant. It was very interesting watching the chef's through the large glass window into the kitchen.

Ordered Indian Hor d'oeuvres plate and Chicken Tikka(Tandoori Clay Oven Preparations). Both were excellent. Chicken Tikka comes with Nan and a veg curry. On the suggestion of our helpful waitress we selected a gravy based mixed vegetable curry and rice and ordered plain Nan on the side. Ordered medium spicy. Chicken Tikka is the best I have eaten so far... More
