Delicious meal

Generous, flavorful entrees. Very attentive staff. Desserts hit and miss as far as portion size. Nice cocktails, pricey beer.

Jim Rua prepares authentic Italian food with a flair that is unmatched in the Capitol District The waitstaff is attentive & helpful The only time I have ever had to send a dish back I was actually thanked as I left the restaurant for giving them a second chance to make it right They want you to have a satisfying... Café Capriccio served us a delicious dinner and accommodated our large group of 12 on a day's notice! Great menu and also offered good selections for the vegetarians in our group. Food was outstanding and the service was excellent!

Fabulous! We had twelve people and reserved the private room upstairs with our own chefs in an open kitchen. What a special and unique experience! The four course meal was amazing and the wine kept flowing. So much delicious home made food. Owner and head Chef Jim Rua and his staff cooked us a feast and made sure we felt... More

Went to the "Cafe" this past Saturday for dinner with my son while visiting in Albany. Upon entering you were cheerfully welcomed. Atmosphere is from the old neighborhood and inviting. Staff were on point all night. The food was on point as well. Never rush and for the amount of patrons the noise level was perfect. The Osso Buco was... More

I have eaten here many times and consistently the food is by far the best in town and plenty of it. Don't think I have ever had a bad meal. Atmosphere is perfect.

In Albany for business and a friend took us to the cafe for dinner. The food was terrific and the wait staff was beyond attentive. Just exactly what you dream of in an Italian restaurant. Atmosphere was like no other. Not one bad thing to say about this place.

3 of us dined at Cappricio on a recent Monday evening. Experience was terrific! Prompt professional service by the team was very well coordinated from wine to gelato and all the components in between. We shared a perfectly executed Neapolitan style pizza and the ravioli app special. Perfect flavors and textures setting the tone for dinner. The veal was cooked... More

A little more upscale dining. Food was delicious. Great appetizers. Very attentive servers. Definitely more for adults. Do not bring small obnoxious children!

We've been eating here for over 30 years and it never disappoints! The menu changes but the irresistable staples remain: housemade pastas! This is the only place I will eat squid ink pasta and it is amazing! The greens and beans are also incomparable. The Bolonaise is perfect too. Osso buco is so wonderful. Portions are huge! Only hard parts... More
