Love the fusion of flavors here!

Authentic Mexican, Tex-Mex and great Southwestern cuisine is waiting for you here at El Loco! After my most recent visit here, I’d give El Loco the nod for the tastiest Mexican in the Albany area. Part of what makes their food so tasty is how fresh their ingredients are. From their vegetables to... read more

I got take-out for 5 including 3 vegetarians. When I ordered, the person on the other end of the phone read back my order. You'd think we were all set but the cheese quesadilla turned into a chicken quesadilla so one of the vegetarians was disappointed. The queso was interesting, rather like a thick cheddar/beer soup. The chicken for the... More

We brought our son to dinner here recently. My wife and I ate here nearly 30 years ago. We liked it then and we like it now too. It's not really that big but it's cozy and quaint. I ordered a spicy pineapple margarita and I liked it so much I ordered a second one! It had a jalapeño slice... More

Don't believe the negative reviews. This is the best Mexican food in Albany. As good as Mexican food I've had in San Antonio. Margaritas are outstanding too. Had lunch with my family and everyone loved their food. Service was outstanding. Friendly hostess and waitresses who were very attentive. Only complaint is that it is a bit pricey but you get... Went here with a few friends--wasn't super impressed but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. We ordered chips & queso as an appetizer which was tasty. My friend and I both ordered a quesadilla for our meals and our third friend ordered a salad. The cheese quesadilla was loaded with cheese, exactly how I like it. Overall the meals were satisfying... Delicious authentic Mexican food. You can eat in or order out. Seating is limited so go early. Highly recommended.

I got tofu fajitas as takeout for dinner on a Thursday night, and this place was busy when I picked up! It's a smallish place, but nice. They gave enough soft tortillas to make three fajitas, which was a satisfying amount, and there was plenty more tofu, peppers, and fixings to make a fourth. Decent portions for the price. The... I originally visited to have a few Margaritas with my Fiancee. We decided to try a few different top shelf brands and they were all very good. There are specials during happy hour as well as some tapas options. I waited to review until my second visit when we had more food. The drinks were again good but the food... More

Our daughter used to rave about this place although that was quite a while ago (years). Looking for a place for lunch, I thought since I was solo, this would be a good opportunity to try El Loco. I was lucky on the parking out front at noon...good start! I walked in and there was only one other couple. Hopefully... More
