First of all, this restaurant is now called Café Madison, not Madison's End Cafe. This restaurant, even with the name change, has been known for years as the place to go for a delicious breakfast. There can be quite a wait on weekends. I love their choice of fresh baked breads. They've also been known for their raspberry oatmeal pancakes,although... More

This is another gem of a place that I love. It is so very consistent, and that is important in a 't be my last."restaurant. I recently took a friend there for her very first visit, but she said "it won't be my last." Everything from oatmeal raspberry pancakes(one of my faves), to Belgian waffles, eggs benedict, and of course... More

The offerings are plenty & thoughtful Have the usual breakfast items (as well as lunch) but then MANY others and their own spin on the standards. Good, fresh food with homebaked breads (try the walnut wheat) in a lovely romantic setting indoors & out. Small & intimate with good prices as well. Not open for dinner. Plan to visit many... More

OK, the positives. It's funky. There is usually a line. The menu, even for breakfast is extensive (if you want a frittata or a tofu scramble, this is the place to come), and you can eat outside. It is crowded, cramped, and there is nothing distinctive about the food itself. I have been several times, and I will take breakfast... More

Awesome breakfast, and excellent staff! The wait on Saturday and Sunday mornings can be on the long side, but it's worth it. Despite being so busy, the staff are all very friendly and attentive. I'd rank this in my top 3 breakfast joints of all time!!

We've breakfasted here before with complete satisfaction, although not in a couple of years (we’ve retired to Florida), and TripAdvisors reviews also led us to believe the place was still very good, but our breakfast today was awful, and that's generous. We arrived at the noon hour and found the place busy, so we waited at the bar and had... More

Would love to give 4 or 5 stars - the food is excellent with creative and standard menu choices. Good value too considering the high quality of the food. Unfortunately, the service was so poor that I have to give 3 stars. :( We sat outside, waited for 20 minutes to have our order taken (after other patrons who were... More

We came here for breakfast because they were supposed to be open at 7:30. The door was still locked when we tried, maybe they were running late this day. We were one of the first parties but the two workers who were there didn't really acknowledge us so we waited around 3-5 minutes just to be sat. The menu had... More

The food is excellent if you are willing to wait up to an hour for it. The wait is not the problem. I have eaten here plenty of times, but the last few times I went I decided not to wait and go somwhere else. The reason is becuase the hostesses are always rude, unfriendly, and not welcoming at all.... More
