Yono (Yono's), and his son Dominic (DP's) provide the best restaurant experience in Albany. I always stay at the Hampton Inn when I'm in town because I eat at DP's every night. Yono, Dominic's father also has his restaurant that has an amazing menu (little upscale for a solo business trip). Very friendly atmosphere with great food and awesome people.... More

The food was very good and the place was certainly full. My only negative comment was that it took about an hour for the kitchen to produce a simple salad during lunch, which is not acceptable. So, I'd only suggest going there if you have some time to kill. If you're on a work schedule at lunch, this could be... More

This is one of the most eclectic menus around, but also one of the best. Service is elegant, but leisurely, so allow plenty of time or tell your server about a show etc. Food is excellent, and they are so accommodating. When we requested French onion soup, which is on the tavern menu but not the restaurant, there was absolutely... More

My husband and I celebrated our 44th Wedding Anniversary at Yono's last night. It's one of our favorite restaurants. They have an extensive menu, but we particularly love their Indonesian food. It's delicious. Love the Bakmi Goreng (Indonesian stir fried noodles with chicken and shrimp) and the Nasi Goreng (Indonesian style fried rice). The service was impeccable as always and... More

Yono is our favorite restaurant! when we decided to get married we had an impromptu ceremony in Yono's. The staff were amazing and willing, taking us to a private dining area with two family members and the minister. The meal and the service were fantastic as usual and we enjoyed our special day thanks to Yono's!

I received a large gift card to Yono's so i was able to go a few times. It is a very classy, romantic, and fancy restaurant. My boyfriend and I both ordered the same dish the first time we went and it was no mistake! one of the best pasta dishes ive ever had.

The combination of decor, wonderful food, incredible service, and creative tasting menu choices make this a must visit choice. The wine cellar is amongst the best I have ever seen, and the wait staff is exceptionally knowledgable and attentive. A wonderful evening of fine dining.

Some fine dining experiences aren't fun because staff are too caught up in their legend. Not here. The staff was excellent and treated us like we were the only people dining in the restaurant. When we questioned about several dishes, we received good explanations and a little something to taste to help clarify. All the dishes had interesting twists and... More

The number 60 is not to be sneezed at, even if, like me, you have had a rollickingly busy life, no children and have always reveled in being the ageless Sixties child who is merely “the biggest kid in the room.” But when Sixties meets 60, it’s time to admit you are an Elder Stateswoman – or at least an...
