Magical 44th Anniversary dinner at Yono's

My husband and I celebrated our 44th Wedding Anniversary at Yono's last night. It's one of our favorite restaurants. They have an extensive menu, but we particularly love their Indonesian food. It's delicious. Love the Bakmi Goreng (Indonesian stir fried noodles with chicken and shrimp) and the... read more

Yono is our favorite restaurant! when we decided to get married we had an impromptu ceremony in Yono's. The staff were amazing and willing, taking us to a private dining area with two family members and the minister. The meal and the service were fantastic as usual and we enjoyed our special day thanks to Yono's!

I received a large gift card to Yono's so i was able to go a few times. It is a very classy, romantic, and fancy restaurant. My boyfriend and I both ordered the same dish the first time we went and it was no mistake! one of the best pasta dishes ive ever had.

The combination of decor, wonderful food, incredible service, and creative tasting menu choices make this a must visit choice. The wine cellar is amongst the best I have ever seen, and the wait staff is exceptionally knowledgable and attentive. A wonderful evening of fine dining.

Some fine dining experiences aren't fun because staff are too caught up in their legend. Not here. The staff was excellent and treated us like we were the only people dining in the restaurant. When we questioned about several dishes, we received good explanations and a little something to taste to help clarify. All the dishes had interesting twists and... More

The number 60 is not to be sneezed at, even if, like me, you have had a rollickingly busy life, no children and have always reveled in being the ageless Sixties child who is merely “the biggest kid in the room.” But when Sixties meets 60, it’s time to admit you are an Elder Stateswoman – or at least an... Yono's is really one of the only truly fine dining restaurants in downtown Albany and one of the most interesting menus you'll find in the area. With a mix of classic American and Indonesian cuisine, every single dish is memorable. I've eaten at Yono's a number of times and have always been thrilled with the meal. My brother also got... A home town gem. Showed us after a bad visit to hollow kitchen, and was treat well. Help staff greet you with a smile soon as you arrive. Food was off the chain. I spent a little more money, but was happy to do it.

We have been Yono customers for over 25 years....through 4 different locations. Yono and Donna have never disappointed us! Everything is "top shelf"....from the warm welcome to the friendly goodbye. The atmosphere, the service, the food and its unique presentation, the "live" entertainment on Saturday nights, all mesh together for a wonderful evening. My husband usually orders fish off the... Yono's is an Albany legend that we hadn't been to in a decade -- it still has the charm and ambiance of its earlier incarnation even though you go through a noisy hotel bar to get there these days. Four of us went to celebrate a friend's birthday. The waiter heard us talking and added some small birthday items, which... More
