My purse had an ottoman, my husband said it was the best meal he's ever put in his mouth, I tried both Indonesian fare and a fairly traditionally prepared seafood dish, we both left happy. Even the vegetables were phenomenal and it's hard to dress up carrots and mushrooms! The prices are high and servings modest, so this will be... More

While visiting friends in Saratoga they took us to Yono's in Albany. What a delightful surprize. We had a delightful meal, mine started with ponzu oysters followed by butter poached lobster and finished with a simple vanilla ice cream. their wine list is large and I especially thought the Ca; del Bosco franciacorta was good value. We also were instoruduced... More

It had been a couple years since our last visit since we no longer live in NY year round but figured Yono's was the place for a very special anniversary celebration. I love to cook and can do a decent job on many dishes so when I go out for a special event I like going where the chef routinely... More

I was staying at the adjoining Hampton Inn and had dinner here out of convenience. The food for Yono's kitchen is sourced locally when possible, always a plus for me. I had a baby kale ceasar salad that was over-the-moon great! My entree of Chicken Gabriel was delightful with fresh-crisp veggies; the plain rice accompaniment was shaped like a small... More

I wanted to write this review last month so I could capture every detail, however though unable to give specifics. I can say it was the ultimate dinning experience. From start to finish the staff was more attentive to our four top then I have experienced anywhere else. While we may have received a little extra attention and goodies due... More

I organized a business dinner for 30 people at Yono’s Restaurant in May. I didn’t have a chance to meet Yono, but I am a big fan of his work! His wife, Donna, manages the restaurant and it was lovely to work with her. She created a special menu for our group and selected wines that were within our budget.... More

A beautiful place to celebrate a special occasion. Atmosphere, service and food all impeccable. We celebrated a graduation there in May. I wish I lived closer; I would frequent this restaurant.

I have always been a huge fan of Yono's and DP Brasserie. Over the years, the quality has improved, though there was certainly nothing wrong with it years ago. I can honestly say it rivals some of the big city restaurants. If you're visiting Albany/Saratoga, there is a plethora of marginal food and there are lots of tourist traps. Yono's... More

Albany, New York, affectionally called "Smallbany" by us locals, does have some very good restaurants, and Yonos may be the best. This the kind of place for a once in a blue moon celebratory meal if you aren't rich, or frequent fine dining if you are. It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for. The prices are very... More

We went with another couple to Yono's last evening and I was the only one of the four in our group that had never been to Yono's. We walked into the Bistro part of the restaurant (out front) and is was crowded and very noisy. We arrived just before our friends and ordered a drink at the bar which arrived... More
