Just gets better and better

Elegant and formal, but very comfortable. The food has now reached a pinnacle. We were four people. We ordered rack of lamb, roast chicken, pork loin, and duck breast. Based on tonight's experience Yono's has really fallen down recently. When I was there earlier this year its service personnel were a high point; now they are not even adequate to their tasks. Water glasses were only refilled once in a three plus hour meal. Servers did not know which guests ordered which dishes and the oyster appetizers were served... More

Great food, interesting setting, friendly staff. The lunch salads are wonderful-- tuna tartare tdf. I've only done lunches there, but I have never been disappointed.

Service was attentive but a bit intrusive. Food was mediocre, especially the highly recommended entre "noodle dish" loaded with cumin and salt, almost inedible. The dessert selectioins were so pretentious that none of us wanted to order one. We have eaten here at least once a year for 5 or more years but sadly this will be the last time.

Wow, it is rare that we experience perfection. It is obvious that the chef takes great pride and strives for perfection in the preparation of food. Seriously perfect. I have never had lobster cooked so perfectly. Up and down the east coast and all the way to the tip of Nova Scotia, no one has better lobster. The four course... More

We actually ate at the more casual DP's portion of his restaurant. Great food, great service. And an awesome Manhatten. A great meal at a decent price.

We returned to Yonos to celebrate our 27th Wedding Anniversary dinner and it was worth the price. They have an extensive wine list. The atmosphere was classy and the waitstaff most attentive. There is a pianist and bass player to play soft music to make your dinning experience delightful. For Appetizers: Vegetable Lumpia and Frisee & Arugula salad were wonderful.... More

Had a wonderful dinner here with friends during a weekend visit from Boston. The food was inspired and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is very nice, elegant but comfortable and the waitstaff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I had Artic Char which was delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The accompanying vegetable medley was fresh and cooked crisp. My husband had the... More
