We just passed by Albany and wasn't expecting such a great Chinese food restaurant. Nice price, nice environment, good service, delicious dishes!

Not the best sushi in Albany. They have slipped over the years. If I am getting delivery I use them because my favorite places do not deliver to me. If you do get delivery plan on 60+ minutes. I have waited 90 before. They have always been accurate, I have always eaten every bite, it just lacks some flavor. I... More

Best Chinese in the area, not compatible to your ordinary bland and boring run of the mill you usually encounter.

Ichiban isn't particularly great food, but it's cheap and has some decent flavor. They do deliver, which is nice.

Ichiban is one of my favorites. Must try the orange spiced tofu. The quality of food is much better than some of the other places and they are pretty darn quick in getting your food.

Great food at a reasonable price. Good variety on both the Japanese and Chinese selections. We love the chicken teriyaki on a stick appetizer. The kung pao chicken and kung pao lomein are great (we get both extra spicy without peanuts). The sauteed beans and the chicken with eggplant and garlic sauce are also great. Ours is a south-asian palette.

Had been there years ago with the neighbors, just for sushi. Last month went again for fathers day, this time got a "box" with gyoza, negamaki, salmon katsu, and more. Seared tuna appetizer was excellent, cold seaweed salad made my wife very happy. Menu has lots of choices, chinese and japanese inspired. Inside is nice and comfortable, lots of room... More

They have two locations, downtown Albany and Guilderland (Western Ave). Very reasonable prices, tasty food, our choice for takeout.

My spouse, myself and friends went to the Ichiban for lunch. The restaurant has about 8 tables but we did not have to wait. A friend and I both had a luncheon special for $6.95. It was OK, but..... My spouse and friend both had a large bowl of soup. My spouse had the beef soup that was OK but... More
