This review is based solely on the brunch menu. I also recommend this place for some late night drinks- it's fun & you get tortilla pizzas! The dining area of The City Beer Hall is interesting in the way that it is outfitted with large picnic-like tables. For a party of 2 or 3 (which seemed to be the norm... More

We stopped in for a quick bite and had two great salads and oysters. Both were great and our server (Jeff) was great.

My husband and I came and watched the second half of a World Cup game here because Wolffs down the street was so over crowded. We loves the atmosphere. And I lived that they give you a mini piZza with the purchase of a beer over a certain amount. We also order some really really delicious wings while watching the... More

Stopped in Albany for a quick lunch when we were driving through. Happened to pull up nearby restaurants on my phone and this place came up. It was a slow Monday afternoon but perfect for my boyfriend who loves craft beer. With each drink you get a ticket for a free pizza so we ended up each getting a pizza... More

While in town for work, several of us were dining at Bongiorno (separate review) when the waitress recommended we try the Beer Hall for its impressive array of beer. Well, we couldn’t pass on that opportunity and off we went for beer tasting! I recommend The Flight, which delivers 4 – 5oz. draft beers of your choice from the rotating... More

Yes, service is slow but the food and menu are part of the reason. The beer menu is EXTENSIVE The food menu is interesting and the food is prepared with care. The atmosphere is beer hall with picnic tables inside and out. Great for large groups of family or friends. Not good for children. Definitely a fun vibe. ( it... More

I stopped in at the City Beer Hall with five coworkers on a Thursday Night around 8pm. It was not busy and there were plenty of open tables. It was difficult to get service (it took around 45 minutes for a waitress to come take our orders) and it was not possible to get drink service at the tables. On... More

Cool interior and an extensive beer menu with yummy strong mixed drinks, too. Menu is not exactly healthy but the grilled chicken sandwich was delicious. Waitress was friendly and very accommodating. Seated at picnic tables - kind of loud but to be expected for this type of venue.

Last night was my first time there. Apparently they just started with a new menu. It's nice when a restaurant identifies the food on it's menu as gluten free and vegan. It was also nice that they had a small selection of gluten-free beer. We were all pleased with our meals especially the burger. The free pizza with a beer... More

I had fun just relaxing and watching sports at this bar..I enjoyed the food which is much better than your average bar food..I really liked the sample brews,,I sampled what the bartender suggested and they were all pretty good. The bartender gave me a ticket for a free pizza,,I could barely hear her so I am not sure why I was...
