My wife and I enjoy dining at the Blu Stone 3 times a year as we stay in the Hotel Indigo overnight when returning home to Bermuda...My wife especially enjoys the small bites menu as she is not a big eater and usually opts for the small bites scallops while I generally go for the pasta special...However be wary that... The new addition to the menu is delicious, the vegetarian dish. Huge portion and reasonable. Besides the vegetarian dish the service is impeccable and staff is extremely friendly. For an appetizer the kale Caesar is a must. The restaurant also has many gluten free options available. A gem in the capital region.

We loved this small place, located a convenient 10 minutes from the Albany, NY Airport. We had about 90 minutes pre-flight and were looking for some good local fare. This restaurant more than delivered. Wonderful fresh scallops, Ahi Tuba, paella, all were served with lovely presentation with sparkling fresh sauces. The wine selection was good and not overpriced. And the... More

We were welcomed like old friends, seated promptly at the outside table of our choice where we were served promptly, attentively, but never obtrusively to a relaxing evening of wine, food, and fresh air. We spent part of the afternoon at Saratoga race track. Which is one of our summer special things to do. This fun Bistro and the adjoining... More

Contemporary atmosphere; friendly, attentive service. Stopped before picking our (adult) kids up from the airport. Caprese salad was fresh, flavorful, lovely. Ripe tomatoes, authentic cheese. Flatbread pizza was too heavy on the garlic for me, but garlic lovers wouldn't complain! The California had lots of fresh basil, avocado, and cherry tomatoes. Crust is homemade, thin, crisp, and has a real... More

Great food and drinks! Had appetizers and a sandwich were were very tasty. The Sangria was amazing! The drinks were a little pricey for Albany. Our drinks were $9-$11. Its right across the street from the Desmond.

Highly recommend dinner here. From the moment you walk in the staff was very attentive. The Tuna tartar app was outstanding. The California pizza was also very good. The Salmon and yellow fin tuna dishes were delicious. Excellent presentation on all the dishes as well. The only negative - no live band playing. Will definitely go back.

Love the fusion Trio and a great glass of HESS at the bar. Cool place and I felt comfortable as a single lady traveler

This restaurant is quite sleek-looking and modern and tries very hard to be "hip". They need to pay more attention to the food, however. My wife and I had dinner there on a recent weekend. SHe orderd the lobster salad appetizer which was essentially a green salad with a little bit of lobster perched on top of some lettuce. The... More

I ended up at Blu Stone because I happened to be on Wolf Road, starving with most places offering 70 minute wait times. Our server, Thomas, was a joy. Attentive in the best way, accommodating (he let my friend sample some beers before she made her choice) and knowledgeable about the menu (steering us gently with suggestions). We ended up... More
