good location and food, service should be improved

The food was good, and the location, it's right on the Anse Soleil beach, which makes it very convenient, we had lunch and then went to the beach. Even if you dont plan to go to the beach, you still can enjoy the great view. The service wasn't great, as described in previous reviews, the owner is a... read more

Dear fellow Seychelles travelers, please take my advice and don't go to this restaurant. Yes, the location is awesome BUT: the owner is the most disrespectful man I have ever met. He is extremely rude to his customers. The food is kind of okey, but certainly as good as Creool kitchen can be, and very expensive for what you get!... More

It was such a lovely sunny day in Seychelles today so we decided to head on out to Anse Soleil, stunning beach . As we arrived the no parking signs are such a turn off everywhere . If customers are visiting the beach yet alone contemplating lunching at Juliens Cafe I don't know where in the world they expect to... More

We have visited this restaurant many times before as we have lived in Seychelles and always took our visitors here as the view and the food was very special. We returned on our recent holiday to be greeted by the owner who rushed up to us as we parked our car, shouting at us and saying we couldn't park there... More

I had been to the restaurant at Anse Soleil a number of times and had to deal with the owner's poor manners a few times before. We always went back because its a great beach and the food is good despite his attitude. Today was the last time I ever go there. The owner was so rude to my wife... More

I was hesitating about writing this review, as in all previous reviews I have written, I have always tested the goods, and in this case, we did not test the restaurant as we were so poorly welcomed by the owner. And then I go on tripadvisor and see other reviews about the owner and his barking, and it reassured me... More

We went there in March, at the beginning we faced a very rude and impolite member of staff who came to us very aggressively and wanted us not to park in the area if we're not going to eat at the restaurant!! The food and the service was a catastrophe indeed!! Tables and floor was very dirty! Again, staff were... More

Sleepy afternoon on the lovely Anse Soleil spoiled utterly by the horrid attitude of the owner of this restaurant. Threatened to take me to court for taking pictures near his property (1 picture, of some wild life nearby), refused to discuss his attitude, told me 'never come to Seychelles' and that I could keep my money, it wasn't welcome. Good... More

it was almost surreal. We arrived at about midday. Our plan was to snorkel then have lunch at the restaurant. However parking is fun and games, very narrow road and the restaurant owner certainly acts as if he owns it. Gave us a dirty look when we parked in one of the four open bays there. On our way to... We went to Anse Soleil Beach to spend the day and have lunch at the beach restaurant. At around 1240 it started to rain so we made our way up to the restaurant only to be told by the very rude and arrogant owner Julien that they did not open until 1pm! Eventually after barking at 2 tourists "are you... More
