Named after the month it was opened in 2004 ( tishreen is Arabic for October) this sophisticated restaurant has an autumnal atmosphere with its straw-encrusted walls lined with antiques and wine bottles. Locals enjoying long lunches and late dinners order Mediterranean-inspired dishes from the mosaic-tiled wood oven which turns out 'aborigine (aubergine) stuffed with pesto and cheese' as well as excellent muhammar , an Arabic pizza topped with chicken and onion slices

A beautiful restaurant not far from Mary's Well. The staff make you feel welcomed. The food NEVER disappoints. Their desserts are incredible, especially the chocolate tart! No visit to Nazareth is complete without a visit to Tishreen.

Nice place with taboon at the enterance. The food was lovely and so was the service at first - later when restaurant was full - some service issues. All the meet verieties were very good - portions slightly small. Deserts also fantastic.

Our guest house gave us this restaurant on the edge of the old city as a landmark to find them. We stayed for a late dinner and enjoyed our meals.

We stumbled upon this small restaurant when we wanted a dinner in Nazareth - the menu outside looked good - even with vegetarian options that was important for one of our group. We had a table for six and we all chose something different. My choice was Lasagne and it was extremely well cooked and piping hot. Everyone agreed that... More

The menu items were unique and very tasty. It is so small that we didn't know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of items and the presentation of the food. We would very highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Tishreen is located in the old Arab/Christian quarter of the Old City, close to the main bus terminus. It is essential to book at this very popular restaurant, frequented by local families and the fashionable young. The food is really tasty, with generous portions. It was so good I ate there three nights out of the five I had in... More
