Service slow, food good

Stopped by in middle of afternoon, so place was empty. Service was slow, but order was accurate and food was good.

The service is terrible. We got up and left our last time there, because the waitress looked at us, but never waited on us. We have not been back, nor have we. The few times we have eaten there, the food was only mediocre.

Take too long to get your food, call in order and go pick it up you still wait 45 minutes and then no togo boxes and they give you regular plates and wrap your food in plastic wrap.

We were traveling thru my hometown taking my mother in law home to Cloudcroft, N.M. We decided to stop and eat. We were seated quickly, waitor took our order 30 minutes after being seated and delivered our drinks. We waited over 1 hour still no food. We left without eating. I am disappointed since I was the one who suggested... More

After a long trip into town we were both a bit famished and ready for a sit down dinner. Not wanting to venture too far from the highway we pulled into ihop for dinner. You could tell we missed the major dinner rush and the speed that our meal was served reflected that...served hot and fresh, but a bit slow... More

I've now eaten at this branch of IHOP 4 times. Three of those instances saw my order come back wrong. It seems the staff experiences a high turn-over rate, and so the wait staff is often unfamiliar with the menu. Additionally, the cooks appear to be unreliable. The one waitress I've seen each time I was there seems over-worked and... More

This is truly an awful restaurant that should always be avoided. During my visit, just about everything went wrong that could. SERVICE: Awful. Despite arriving at 9:45pm and there being many open tables, I actually had to wait to be seated. Then my waitress (the only one working at the time) never came to take my order. The woman who... You would think that all IHOPs were basically the same. The service was not great and the food was worse. I have never left food at the table before, but we did this time. The cook did not know how to cook eggs. Mine were the easiest, scrambled, but they were burnt. The crepes were doughy and the pancakes were... More

Nothing extraordinary here. It's not bad at all; just what you would expect at IHOP. The service is usually average and the food is typical of the IHOP chain. It's convenient that it's open 24 hours and is the only venue in Artesia to get a fresh hot meal at any hour of the day or night.

Went to the "pre-opening", and several times in the weeks following...good food and fully staffed. Now, not so much. Almost all of the original managers and servers are gone....so is the service. The food is standard "IHop" fare but the serve time and service is getting worse each time I go in there. I only go now when someone else... More
